I saw the show a few weeks ago and so desperately wanted to take photos of the little touches, specifically the eye “cave painting” and the butterflies. So happy to see it’s all been captured here!

THANK YOU for capturing the beauty of this place! I got to see it last weekend and it was beyond my wildest dreams! I am so glad I can refer to this video to show the different elements of the space! The designer is so talented and is a HUGE inspiration of mine since I am also a theatre creator who works in the costumes/props/set land!

I went to the august Wilson to see the funny girl revival, and looking at how they redid the theater is so magnificent. That theater needed Renovations, and this set designer definitely should win the tony for best scenic design

Cabaret is a show dear to my heart as a musical theatre vocal and acting coach and the MC is a role I have had the pleasure of performing a few times. I have been sad to see some of the backlash for this production on social media, as musicals are meant to be revamped with fresh takes. The version I did was the revival of Cumming as MC. Very black humor and German Expressionist. Though I haven't made it to NY to see this new production .. .It looks absolutely fascinating and immersive and my friends in NYC can't stop raving about it. I like the symbolism of Eddie childlike harlequin and the Don't Tell Mama number done in grotesque baby doll.... as sort of lost of innocence, danger lurking etc.

Although it is beautiful and well made it looks too clean and nice to be the Kit Kat Klub. It is too slick and needs more grit including the costumes. Just my opinion.

Costumes look like it absolute nightmare… I wish they would represent the 1920s. They look like a horror movie, not a world I want to be transported to
