Aww I'm sorry! I originally was very resistant to releasing this tutorial because of this very reason. But was convinced to after talking to other people and seeing other crochet pattern writers do both. I really wanted it to be accessible to more people and some view a no-ad quick-to-read written crochet pattern as different than a slower video tutorial with ads, although they do make the same plushie. I'm sorry that you would have preferred the video tutorial and that it wasn't made available to you sooner, but I hope having the written pattern still benefits you and makes making the plushie easier for you in some way!

If i were to write this down and use it in my crocheting endevors (i wont give it out or sell it, of course,) would that be alright? I occasionally sell plushes to friends and family, and i would love to use this pattern.

My vote vent to the bat pattern as I prefer more realistic axolotls and have seen less bat turorials but how could anyone ever resist this? I need to make one someday, thanks!

18:24 when you said to make sure it isn’t inside out and have the string on the inside…do we have to flip it and continue if it’s on the outside? I’m a little confused
