Those boots look a lot like my Ariat Ropers. I gotta tell ya, getting my boots that wet like you did with those boots scares me but you’re the expert. I’m watching what you do and learning.

You definitely don't have to. Scrub them with the saddle soap then rinse off lightly or with a wet rag after you wipe off the saddle soap. No reason to completely soak

So the cream polish doesn't discolor the stitching, or you were careful avoiding it? A lot was learned, watching you.

I bit the bullet and purchased my 1st. pr. of cowboy boots: Tecovas (The Wyatt Pecan full quill Ostrich boots) I thought I would give them a try and I went to a casino all you can eat sea food buffet and dribble hot butter on the left boot (4 pretty large spots)the spots look black on the boots. Didn’t notice this until I got home. I’m very disgusted with myself! Is there a way to get those spots off without ruining the full Ostrich boots??? Note: I did buy some Boot Barn Exotic leather cleaner & conditioner months ago, I've never used any cleaner/conditioner before and don't want to ruin my new boots. You seem to know a lot about cowboy boots. I need you thoughts. Thanks

I wear a 12D boot. Recently, I got a helluva deal on a new pair of calfskin handmade boots but they are 12EE. I hoped they would adjust or at worse, require two pairs of boot socks. No such luck. Any way to tighten up the fit in the arch so it will work for me?

Let us face it. The Lucchese 2000 line...is not really all that great of a boot. In fact...Lucchese doesn't have that line any longer, and the time they had it...was short. It was in fact. ..their lowest line ever. I will pass on anything stamped Lucchese 2000. Just not that great of a boot.
