we finally caved!

This was NOT boring! I enjoyed the whole episode. Though full disclosure as soon as I saw the European plug I was on amazon purchasing you a converter...You beat me to it LOL. You are making great progress and thanks for sharing!

Looks like a grinder motor on it. Could it be changed out with an American one?

This wasn’t boring at all, besides sharing it lessens the pain of sanding. I’m curious what your conclusions are about the sander now that you have used it extensively, was it worth it?

It was an expensive purchase. But to us it was worth it. Although It is great for the larger areas, we still went back and did some final touch ups with the long boards. Thanks for following along 😊

I don't know if I'm the only one that noticed that the motor assy of the sander is actually the same as an ordinary angle grinder. Harbor freight 110v sander here I come.

yeah it's grinder for power but making the flexible vibrating board that's the hard part , they also make a pneumatic one

in Europe it's 220v i own a home there and in america i have converters from 220 to 120 and also 120 to 220 , every house in America has 220 v the difference is in europe 220v comes in one wire the other is neutral , in America 220v comes in 2 110v wires so just tie the 2 110 wires together and bingo you have single wire 220v with no converter

My major concern with the power was the hz, in Europe they run at 50 hz in the USA they use 60. I’m definitely no electrician but I didn’t want to take a chance burning up an expensive sander motor. The piece of mind was worth the added expense. 😊 thanks for following along 😊
