Now that a few months have passed since my last comment, I've actually avoided a knee replacement by having Stem Cells placed in my knee. The recovery was less than one week and I'm doing very well!

This is not magic and certainly not indistinguishable. Nothing is impossible to the human brain in possibilities, and certainly not indistinguishable enough from creating a new updated video!

The sonic hedgehog thing, came from a study on fruit flies and it was found that they have a gene (I think) that is responsible for essentially why we have two sides to our face and brains etc. Abnormalities with this gene produce for example cycloptic/one eyed babies who unfortunately don't live that long. There are preserved babies in medical museums I think. The gene is called sonic the hedgehog because the scientist who worked on identifying this almost universal gene noted that the fruit flies in question had almost hedgehog style edges on their heads under a microscope. The sonic part was because that scientist went home and saw his child had left out a comic or magazine that had sonic the hedgehog on the front. Hence the name was coined for the gene that we all have but was initially identified in fruitflies. Imma lay person so that's as much as I know.

The answer is no. G0 interphase of mitosis states that nerve cells cannot be replicated.

There are lots of seminars where these docs show slides but never bring out a patient who has had this done. Now I have heard they often inject hyaluronic acid which acts as a pain killer. Yes indeed, you can get a shot of hyaluronic acid and paid by your insurance company. Lets see the clinical trial proof.

1:38:00 There is a very simple way to avoid the ethical complication. Just use a human for experiment instead of a mouse. If the experiment is is going to benefit humans, and not mice, then it should be humans who pay the price, not mice. Also, mice are innocent; some humans are not. You can use prison inmates for the experiments.

farvision Constitution can be amended. Also, there is nothing cruel and unusual about making convicts be of use to society and pay for their crimes. There is something known as 'hard labor' for convicts, which is legal and practiced in USA.

I agree with what you're saying about convicts, I said the same thing too, but a few people in prison _are_ actually innocent and I fear for them.

I had my stem cells injected into my hips over a period of 5 Months, because of a loss of cartilage in my right hip. I truly was hoping this would be the answer to restoring the cartilage in my hip, but after paying a lot of money and completing my treatment, it didn’t work for me! I am sorry for your continued suffering. Watch stating at 1:11:50 to 1:15:00 then revisit the information on damaged, diseased, and scar tissue at about 52:40 to 1:00:05. I imagine your hip joint may have some scaring. I pray for your healing.

When she mentions scar tissue at around 14-15 minutes, is she saying that procedures like fat transplants for burn and complexion scars on the face would be futile? I know a common plastic surgery procedure today involves grafting adipose tissue from the lower stomach, which contains stem cells, and implanting it into the face and other affected areas by burns and serious skin disorders that cause scar tissue is being tried right now by numerous plastic surgeons. Plastic surgeons claim this can regenerate the damaged tissue over time and fill the affected areas that have cell damage and atrophy, so I wonder if it is a legitimate procedure some plastic surgeons are performing on patients.

Much as I love the entire concept of stem cells, at least with regards to the regeneration of missing appendages, you really have to be something of a sociopath to be able to inflict that kind of suffering on another living creature. I couldn't do it, least not on an animal sentient enough to react frantically, in fear, of a pain source. I mean, I could never deliberately wound or maim a salamander just to see its leg regrow, least not several times just to see what happens... I hope they at least show mercy and give the animals some kind of lidocaine injection before they assault it.

Unfortunately it cost over $24,000 to produce a few tenths of a gram of gold. We just can't generate the gravitational power of super massive stars.

Why don't insurances pay for it? I know$, but they would still make $, probably more & people would be healed.

+Louie Rivera Actually your asking about telomer regeneration. If you can find it on dvd to rent, the science channel broadcast 6 episodes of a program called "Futurescape" narrated by James woods. One episode was titled " do you want to live forever". It shows the scientific research that has been done on telomeres and their triggering of new cell production. At last check there was a company offering 90 day injections for a year at $40,000.00 per injection. The program research was all done using mice so it was in vivo but absent human trials. It promises to offer you the choice of how long you wish to live in a healthy young state. That will do wonders for the social security system and world population. Major adjustments will need to be made. Right now you have to be rich to use it.

After 6 months of offering stem cell therapy in combination with the venous angioplasty liberation procedure, patients of CCSVI Clinic have reported excellent health outcomes. So if we find ways to make the body make 1 stem cell each time it divides we can live longer and healtier. We should be concerned about science of stem-cells becoming proprietary and just another form of business. If you can get cancer, you must have stem cells already resident within. In normal pregnancy, eating is the important thing. Not medicine.

Well I remember reading years ago they would burn a pig's heart and then heal it with stem cell surgery. And I have a heart issue called atrial fibrillation that is very debilitating and all they want to do is burn my heart. @@justinspykerman I want to extend my natural brain function. I want to do the same with my body. I have considered chopping an arm off or replacing an eye with a camera for science. Then I thought about extending my sensory inputs and from there I wondered if I should implant “my own” memories into “my own” brain to increase the rate of learning. It all went downhill from there.
