Stem Cell Therapy - Miracles or Money Wasted?

Stem cells have an amazing ability to repair tissue damage. They seems to improve many conditions including Alzheimer's, arthritis, cardiac disease and much more. But, that potential is luring consumers to spend big money on unproven treatments. HealthCall's Lee Kelso explores this problem and the potential of stem cell therapy with Dr. Ernst Von Schwarz, a cardiologist and stem cell researcher. His new book is The Secret World of Stem Cell Therapy.

They also can't patent stem cells ... they could of course make their own labs and still make big money, but they want the quick buck and they don't want to heal you they want to treat you. Lastly, stem cells seem to work for some and not so well for others -- so, if you take a non-negative approach, they're not 100% effective.

In 2015 i had a stem cell therapy for my damaged knee cartilage, in Malaysia, where i live. After the first injection in each knee i realised the same day that my right shoulder didn't hurt any more. I was so desperate about my knees that i forgot about my shoulder. For a few years i had to have steroid injections twice a year. A couple of hours after the first 2 injections the pain stopped and it's 8 years now i am pain free. My left knee got miles better soon after the treatment. The right knee took a bit longer, being more damaged. The second lot of 2 injections i got 3 weeks later. However, in Dec i had to have Hyaluronic acid injection because i was having pain. I am 70 yrs old now. The stem cells were from an umbilical cord. The cost was around USD3,500.

Make sure they are board certified actual doctors! Then if they’ve done it before so they have safety, efficacy, and experience under their belts ! Also with joints it’s important to use fluoroscopy & ultrasound guided injections. Also inducing injury so the stem cells concentrate on injured areas. Listen, if the stars can use it on their faces, then wth , in this day & age, can’t this be an excellent alternative to old school “health care ????”

The cost of MSC stem cell therapy probably is significantly less expensive in India in many other countries. I hope and pray you can find a physician you can speak with about your condition to see if you would like to pursue the treatment. 🙏🙏🙏

I bet. I think this therapy can be very to completely successful depending on the condition and the quality of the product and the administration of it. Mexico imo can offer quality MSC treatment for far less cost than the states so it's easy to see why the country has become a haven for scammers, but I'm sure there are reputable clinics and providers there too.

My friend went to get it done in Canada. it is an amazing process and the immune system is shut off while is done and stays off for months while the new Stems cells take over. Actually the recover can take up to more than one year depending on the person conditioning and health. The recovery has to be very very carefully monitored and food makes a big difference because I am his nutritional advisor and exercise advisor but he is doing amazing and last week he run his first 5k

@@ABULKALAAMmrprince Sorry for a late reply. I could not advise you on that because I am not a doctor or specialist on that type of wherever disease you might have. Stem cell transplant it requires that the disease has progress to a level where other therapys or chemo has failed and the donors matches or is compatible with the receiver plus a lot of test are done prior to the transplant. After transplant is in the recovery that nutrition and exercise play a big role because the person can't just eat wherever they feel because they will be on different medications for the rest of theirs lives and they should also watch how much or how little exercise they do. I am glad to hear you are feeling much better from wherever you been having health issues. I did not get what you are taking and why you are taking it for. Can you please explain in more detail? Cheers
