Lath if you want to force the End of the Cycle you could always use the console, there is a command to "summon" each Covenant. Unless you're using Iron Man mode ofc.

with how much stellaris has changed maybe you should attempt an empire that you really didn't like a long time ago but they might have changed to be better? mostly getting this idea since you seemed to didn't mind the nobles and stuff when you changed to them? who knows how much other empire types have changed by now that you used to dislike

Regular players: The endgame crysis is so hard! Veteran players: Let's try to beat the x5 crysis while following a special path. Probably possible Godly players: The 25x crysis ? Pff, easy. I bet there is no-one better than me now! Lathrix: *Enables x25 crysis while also getting set back literally to start game economy in the late game, and prevails* Lathrix: *OBSERVE*

Never really thought about the fallen empires sitting there looking at their depressing research screens and thinking 'meh... what's the point even.'

Before stellaris stopped working on my home computer, I got my ass handed to me by a random raider attack. I sacrificed science and construction ships over my homeworld so that my fleet could kill them after it reformed the second time.

I mean.. just imagine how it would be. The leading empire of your federation annihilated itself and brought eldritch monsters from beyond the material universe into existence. Around a century later the remnants of that empire rebuild under a divine god emperor of unrivaled psionic power and when wars rage across the galaxy and the empires ask for military intervention that god emperor simply stares into the void and proclaims that he cannot afford to lose the ships, for something far more horrific is approaching.

Wow this galaxy actually started resembling 40k in the end.

Lathrix: Loses all his navy, nearly all his pops and spawns terrifying psychic enemies throughout his empire, as a x25 endgame looms in the future Also Lathrix: ...A minor setback You ought to play a multiplayer game sometime, I think you'd do really well. Your buddy Aavak plays Stellaris too, I'd love to see you guys go head-to head!

From what I've been able to gather from watching and reading Stellaris Lore: 1. The Worm is not the End of The Cycle. The Worm is an outer entity that is seperate from psionics. The End Of The Cycle is a psionic entity that only takes notice of psionics, and is likely to come from a place very near the Shroud. 2. The Worm might by a 4th or higher dimensional being, seeing as what we see it as is only a fragment of its being. Not to mention, the Infinity Machine also mentions it if you were contacted by the Worm first. Something about how "The Loop has mentioned you, yes." Seeing as we know that the Infinity Machine is technically omniscient since it already solved everything except for infinity, we can safely assume that the Worm is at least 4th dimensional. 3. The Worm is the cycle. What was, will be, and what will be, was. The End of The Cycle seems to be the opposite of it, being an entity that only has one goal: to end everything. A cycle cannot exist with an end, so I like to think of The Worm as being antagonistic to TEotC.

Politics of Stellaris 101: Changes leader selection from strongest to smartest. Becomes new leader with less than 50 population by having lots of research. Kicks previous leader, declares war on them and takes their planets. Love this series.

Kicking the Conglomerate is fitting as a punishment for their treachery of taking over the federation when you are crippled by the end

I love this Playthrough, it is wonderfull that our Emperor still finds interesting ways to conquer the galaxy.

This is... by FAR... the most interesting, and entertaining playthrough of Stellaris I've ever seen. I've never seen "End of the Cycle" occur naturally. And it's interesting to see what is basically "a full setback" to game start. Id actually LOVE to see an "alternate reality" where you began a dozen or so colonies on Lvl1 Habitats you have already built up a bit. (Abandon the planet, and recolonize shortly before end of cycle hits, and see how quickly you could build back up. Something to consider if you have any saves from before "the end" hits. :)

I love this, all the curve balls, this is what a good Stellaris playthrough is, just the game going ape shit with 50 different RNG events that change everything and make you adapt.

as someone who just watched a 100+ hour full play through of Star Trek Online this is nothing to worry about. i have watched Sins of a Solar Empire play through that was easily three times as long. Here's an interesting fanatic purifier idea; Lithoids with calamitous birth, with ethics leaning towards spiritualist. They are the fragments of their celestial (who they call mother), which they worship like a God(des). It should be stated that they specifically don't worship the impact site (which they do anyway) but the planet sized asteroid that they split off from. If they originated from an insignificant speck of that celestial object, what God could come from the entirety of it? They must build themselves to be their equals, and prepare the entire galaxy for their arrival! For it, is our destiny.

@Lathland there IS a way to force the End of the Cycle! And you can even force it to happen to an AI Empire! Get the Crisis Manager mods. The unofficial ones to be precise. The main ones were abandoned, and are listed as such, but the unofficial ones are still working with the current release.

End of Cycle just seems like a crazy endgame! Also *waves*.... "Hi, Algorithm!" Loving the Stellaris Content! Cheers, Ivan :D
