Im 47yo, my brother died of cancer on June 5th 2024, this song and these lyrics bring me some sense of peace, as I weep knowing he will find his way home, where ever that is next. Love you Billy, may you rest in peace 💜

Sorry for your loss cancer sucks I lost my mom in 2017 to cancer it’s so hard to carry that pain but I believe she’s with me from time to time I’m sure Billy is with you aswell

I noticed that variations of this theme play any time you discover remnants of human “shelters” in the world. The song is so pretty and sad, it really captures that longing for what once was

I wasn’t talking about any of that - I was referring to this theme playing in the Title screen, as well as playing in the construction site when you find remnants of a lounging area for humans, and also when you find the human hideout in Matrix 11. I’m sure there are other instances I missed, but I noticed this theme is a signal for the warmer, newer remnants of humanity
