I didn’t even realize this was a Korean made game. I was looking in the language section and confused why there was no Japanese dub voice option. Googled the game and then finally found out. Original Korean voice actors going forward in this game for me.

I can't say that Rebecca was voicing EVE so well... I'm impressed with her badass voice.😊😊😊

True. That is why i play with korean voice because of her english va, plus eve korean voice is excellent

The Korean voice acting is much better IMO. A lot of the English performances felt very flat to me. Normally, I don't want to read subtitles while I'm playing, as it's hard to following some conversations in the middle of the action, but switching to Korean made the story much better and was worth the tradeoff.

It's kind of normal given the fact that the original scripts are in Korean, it's supposed to be easier for Korean VA to capture the emotions

I played the game in the Korean dub and thought everyone sounded really good.

They are both solid tbh

I guess I'm the only one that thought Rebecca did a decent job as Eve. Sure, it wasn't perfect, but I felt she became more emotional as she discovered more about the truth through the game, and that made it more immersive for me. Nezar, on the other hand, can disappear into the wilds for all I care. I swear, his cadence and monotone for the entirety of the game was so freaking grating! His dialogue also ticked me off but I can't blame him for that part. "Try the lever to start the elevator again." Yes Adam, I already did that three times but for some reason it just wouldn't work until you told me to do it you prick!

The person introduced as Digger's voice actor is a Korean "movie actor". I think you're confused because the names are the same.😅

Finished the game with the Korean Voice and i don't even speak Korean, just becuz it's best dub in the game and with Korean voice u have much better game experience

They do, but the way its spoken in translation is weird in English. It doesnt sit right with me because it doesnt sound like proper english except for eve and the airborne squads.

best sound actor is Raven actor. I love how she sound when a mentally broken woman speaks

Hmmm. I see alot of experienced VA. I feel like maybe its not the voice actor but the whoever was the director for the English side of this. I feel like there was a disconnect on how english should be spoken and what emotions go behind english as well as understanding of it. They shouldve brought in a director for specifically english voice acting. this may have fixed the weird tone set by the english version.

Her face is in-house. The only face model they use is Adam, which is Sen Mitsuji. He’s even credited as the first person before the VAs in the credits scene.

I didn't like the english too much. Everyone felt off. Played it in my natural tongue instead; spanish. Finally they hire voice actors that can roll Rs lol. I appreciate it. They all a range of emotions too.

This is the first game where I've switched to a non-English dub, and damn its much better. Not usually my choice, I always tend to stick with my own language since I prefer not to read subtitles, but the English voice acting is just so flat and weird. Adam especially, whose voice you hear a lot, is so droning and dull that I found it distracting. He sounds like a 15 year old trying to sound like a cool older guy.

so i'm sure people will agree with me, but Korean voice actors have this specific tone and manner of speech that is common in all Korean voice acting. there are over emphasis on certain parts like the way they end each word or sentence that doesn't sound natural at all. I saw less of this for the Tachy voice actress, and I was really surprised by how natural the Eve voice actress spoke. I could barely hear that Korean style in there. The Korean style is one of the reasons I don't like Korean anime dubbing The Korean voice actor for Orcal was using the Korean style, but in his case, I think it actually worked very well. the voice actress for mother sphere wasn't bad because the Korean style gives it that weird alien tone. But everything else was really cringe for me as a Korean I'm not sure what the intent was for the British accent for Eve though

The English VAs just sound dead, dull and not in line with their character counterparts. The Korean voices match up perfectly with their characters. Idky, Asians always bring their characters to life, the emotion’s and energy.

Devil May Cry 5 voice acting is the best so far. However, Stellar Blade has its moments.

Am I the only one thay thinks English Eve was great? I think Korean made her sound too young.

Why do I feel like the Korean Voices should belong to the English VAs and the English voices should belong to the Korean VAs? 🧐 The Korean VAs have such soft/elven? ( _not sure what word to use_ ) faces, yet such DEEP voices, and the English VA's (except for the Elder Naytiba) have such Mature? looking faces, yet have such ethereal voices.... it is weird....

Given that they intentionally made the airborne squad members look significantly different from those living on Earth, I think they did this to demonstrate how the people from the colony spoke differently than those on Earth.

These are all good voice acters/actresses, so it must be the script that makes them sound so bland.

The girls in this game were made from scratch in a studio though.

I hate that they gave Eve an English accent in the Western release. Eve is KOREAN and as a K-Pop fan I can tell you that Koreans never sound like this when speaking English. They usually have an American accent when they talk.

Korean IS CANON. The English voices don't match at all. They make a mockery of the original vision. Eve and Lily's voices are terrible (and Kaya)

Unfortunately the digger robot was the worst. Completely flat and no emotion even if it is a robot character. And Adam was pretty 1 tone. So many actors also from Baldur's gate yet I actually only liked eves voice but still wasn't great

I feel it like there was a emotions translation failure. Like they were probably working with someone who didnt know how English speakers sound with emotions and just went with whatever the English speakers put down
