100% agree. They have options to shorten the ponytail. Why not throw in totally none as well puzzles me.

They should have it braided or knotted too. Not a fan of the way they made the ponytail. it's too loose and appear artificial in some instances.

For Shift Up's first AAA game, Stellar Blade is impressive. With a solid story, combat system, cosmetics, and visuals, I hope Shift Up makes a sequel, strays away from Nier Automata being it's main inspiration, and shape it's own identity as a game. 😊🗡✨

Maybe in an update we could get some ponytail free hairstyles.

Wait, it's hard to tell because of the dark background, so all of the hairstyles have an awkward ponytail attached to them? Even the clearly shoulder length bob cuts and even the short one? Weird design choice...

I hate that we can't change her hair style or color outside of the hair salon in Xion. Sometimes, you just have the urge to switch things up in the middle of a sidequest or mission. Also some specific colors being locked to certain hairstyles is annoying.

When this comes to PC that's going to be awesome.

I recommend people check some of these out with the short ponytail. Total game changer for a few of the outfits and hair styles

While I do appcriate the design behind these hairstyles, I still prefer her default one. Although the one with the bang slightly covering her right eye came second.

Everyone seems annoyed with the ponytail. I'm way more disappointed that there's not a single haircut without bangs. She should have at least one option where we can see her forehead xD

If you look at Korean girls, they all always have bangs. It's a cultural thing. It would be like asking an Italian not to eat pasta

You probably already know, but if you talk to the guy in the hair salon in Xion, he'll give you a sidequest. Complete it and it'll open the shop for you.

Dont like her haistyles at all. Only 2-3 of them are worth something. Girl in orange and black suit with long hairs looks waaaay much beautiful than Eve with her ponytail. That haistyles almoist gives nothing. With her face and head type vacation hairstyle is a best choice.

Long hair is a nightmare to animate in combat. You can do this with bosses that have limited fighting moves. But the player character does too many actions and you would have to animate the hair for every one of them.

I could understand having a canonical reason for every hair style having a pony tail but we it just is not that. We know why there is a pony tail. Simply so we dont have a cake fest every minute we play. No fair.

it's much simpler. With the pony tail, you have to think about the physics of a single polygon. With long hair you have to calculate the physics of 100 pony tail. A boss or a mob, has few sequences and you can animate separately.

My deluxe edition also contained great costumes with extra black lace around certain bare skin areas. Hope for future updates to include a Burka as well!! #FreeStellarBlade

It's great that there is an opportunity to replace her stupid bangs, but it's bad that there are no full-fledged long hairstyles. P.S. The Cutest - top.

I prefer short hair, like 2B from nier. It just looks better as your dashing about etc. ponytails fly all over and have awful physics.

Yes & no,you can try switching it to short pony tails in the setting,hope that helps.

All this customization smells like the game was gonna have a multiplayer mode that never got implemented (...yet?)

Just say you enjoy looking at grown women depicted as little girls and you disagree with me when I say I find it tacky and gross. I love that you think you have one on me by trying to paint this as “culture”. The whole design of Eve is a pile of most stereotypical things that people who dont actually know about asian culture associate with asian culture and thats tacky
