This anime didn't just change someone's life, it changed a lot of people's lives. Masterpieces like Steins;Gate are the result of pure passion and thought put into something, along with questions of our existence. That feeling is the greatest misery I have ever felt. Even as a young child I never felt sadder than when I finished my favourite book series and realised there was nothing more left.

You know, a lot of people give this movie a hard time because the science and theories don't follow the rules of the steins gate time travel and established worldline functionality. But I think of this movie and the science in more of a metaphorical sense. At the end of steins gate we see that he was able to reach the perfect world line, but we never see any of the ways that is time travel effected him. Reliving all the events for so long like okabe did had to have some traumatic effects on his psyche. Jumping from worldline to worldline and experiencing the same events over and over had to hurt his mental state. I feel like okabe being unstable on the steins gate world line is a good metaphor for him having PTSD. Having a hard time being grounded on the perfect worldline. Because it is a steins gate movie they had to have sci Fi elements and time travel in the story, they couldn't just make it a story about okabes mental health so I feel like the whole blipping out of the world line was meant more to be related to PTSD, and anxiety because he is bound to have those after everything he went through. In the end, kurisu his love had to try and help him fight his mental anguish. "Ground him" in the worldline. Tell him and reassure him that those bad things won't happen. That's my personal interpretation of this movie and although it is looked down upon by some I think people are missing the real meaning behind this movie

I agree with your point of view here. The point of this movie was to show us all the emotions Kurisu and Okabe really felt for each other’s. And that’s why i think this story is beautiful.

Or it didn't do against the established rules at all. In my interpretation, the phenomenon here is like the Schrodinger Box Okabe talked about. Okabe's meeting with Kurisu is supposed to happen in S;G line's history, but it has NOT. That's why the world is in both states: Okabe was dead in that car accident, or Kurisu met him. The movie reminds us of the fact that everyone has their own Reading Steiner to explain why this miracle is possible: "Even without Okabe, everyone behaves the same and make the S;G+0,000001 worldine almost identical to S;G worldline". Now with that context, check the lyrics of this song again. This is downright a masterpiece.

I wish I could wipe my memories of the anime and play the visual novel first. The anime was amazing, but I guess it's more of a personal preference thing.

Steins;Gate is a masterpiece, taking Time Travel, and putting it in a story with characters who everyone can relate with. Steins;Gate doesn't feel like a science fiction story, it really does just feel like a story about some kids who discovered time travel and decided to mess around with it. The story isn't about time travel, it's about the characters, who seem very 1 dimensional at first, but all feel like real people by the end. I think one of Okabes lines from S;G0 perfectly summarizes the story "I created a world where my friends felt safe, and sacrificed it to keep Mayuri" (I don't remember the exact phrasing). My first time playing Steins;Gate (I played the VN cause I heard it was similar to the nonary games), I remember not being able to stand Okabe! I liked him at times, but holy fuck did I hate the way he acted! At the end tho, I remember being extremely excited hearing his laugh again! I absolutely loved seeing his obnoxious behavior return! I don't think there's a single character I hate in Steins;Gate! Everyone is just written beautifully!

Don't forget the pain Mayuri went through also since she vaguely remembered her deaths in visions thinking they were dreams, but it was said everyone has a small semblance of Reading Steiner but unlike Okabe, theirs is just hidden in their subconscious.

I remember watching the movie, and then the song came fading into the last scene, I felt in love with it right away. The lyrics fit perfectly the story, the scene and the relationship between the protagonists, and it's a neat theme to end the anime. This song became my favourite ending theme alongside Garnidélia's "Désir", the ending of "Fate/Apocrypha". When listening to them, it gives me goosebumps, wishing the show never ended.

This song is nostalgic but its not even been that long since I first heard it. Its crazy

Well, I didn't watched stein's Gate 0 cause' after watching stein's Gate I knew that it's going to hurt me. My watching sequence was like this: Stein's gate->special ep25->stein's Gate the movie: deja vu. But after a good and happy ending , don't know but I still feel sad.

You know the song is beautiful if it makes you tear down , and remembering the series it fits this perfectly, the singer's voice is angelic.❤️

And so I have arrived at the end of this journey. Beautiful end for wonderful series. It sure has left a dent on me though :')

I just finished rewatching the "main" story until deja vu movie, but i'm not sure of touching S;G Zero again, i remember the depression it gave me and my heart hurts a bit Kurisu :'c

Steins;Gate is stored in my hippocampus so hard I watched it in 2011 when it came out and I keep coming back even though I don't watch anime anymore since like 2013.

This is the best animes I have ever seen

@@manfaichan In Steins;Gate universe, parallel world lines don't exist. Only one active world line at a time. So happy ending happens, and Okabe found Steins Gate where he was able to save both Mayuri and Kurisu. Beautiful son this.

Vaya... Que hermosa canción, no recuerdo haberla escuchado en la película a no ser que sea otra película diferente o simplemente estaba embobado pero esto es una joya, que historia tan preciosa la que cuenta su letra, es perfecta para describir la relación de Kurisu y Okabe ♥️

I like how this movie was pretty much Steins;Gate 0 for Kurisu.

Mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn this anime had me crying 😭😭 everytime i see makisa's face, plus it's romantic atmosphere is soo heart breaking, i give it a 9/10 soooo good. I needed a lot of recovery time after I've done with the first season and the movie.
