Largest Rident in North America and they are very destructive. They will wreck your garden and burrow everywhere. They hate Mint, and especially Dogs that are way bigger than them. They won't just leave on their own, you have to encourage them. They are a Herbivore, tasty like a rabbit if it comes to that.

Thoes steiners are great. I run one in the winter for snow removal. Just remember to grease the center link where the front and back pivot. We didn’t know there were grease fittings on it and it rusted and wore out the pivot.

You will come to very much appreciate the foot controlled hydrostatic drive, leaves both hands free to steer and/or raise or lower implements at the same time.

Watch out with those briggs efi engines. High pressure fuel pumps love to break on them. I recommend buying one to have just in case because theyre usually on backorder

I’d also delete the valley plate, I do it on every vanguard I pull the cover off of. If you leave the plate in there a 100% Chance it’s gonna cut through the wire harness at some point.

I had a similar tract of land. I had a John Deere 870, bush hog and 72" Finish Mower. The finish mower turned that land into a nice blanket of grass lawn. The more you mow the nicer it gets.

It’s aggressive looking-Reminds me of a transformer or some sort of insect

I’d get an updated high pressure from Briggs to keep on hand. And if you ever have to pull the cover off I’d remove the valley plate, they love to chafe the wire harnesses there. I’d also do valve lash every few services, they love to loosen up. If you keep up with those little things they will last for ever (also if you ever want to hop it up we sell turbo kits and stage kits for these 😂)
