    As a vikings fan, It warms my heart that you’ve accepted reality. It’s ok, we traded him and we got a better player in return. We were ok life after Stefon Diggs. Bills Mafia will be ok too! Hell you might even get lucky like us and draft even a better receiver to replace him! His play is not good enough to put up with his toxic attitude. You guys are better off without him. Good luck this coming season!

    As a Vikings fan, I was bummed to see Diggs leave, he is an insane talent, but he clearly wanted to be in a different situation. Can’t blame him, at the time we had a defensive minded head coach that wanted to run the ball and focus on a very conservative style of offense. It obviously worked out for us after drafting JJ and getting a better receiver on a rookie deal. I also think it worked out for Buffalo too. Got Diggs for his Prime years and then landed a 2nd round pick. Houston is also getting an amazing receiver, who might have another year or two in the tank to help out their up and coming QB. Might be a weird situation in which there are no losers in these trades. Obviously the passive aggressive social media stuff and sideline (and likely locker room) BS that comes with Diggs is an unfortunate side product of the Diggs package. But teams accept the trade off of the talent for the antics…until they don’t, then they cash out.

    As a Chiefs fan I can tell you that the Chiefs were not intimidated by Diggs. In the 13 seconds game it was Gabe Davis who was wrecking the Chiefs secondary, not Diggs. This year it was Allen, Shakir and Kincaid who were doing the damage. Diggs could have helped the Bills grab the momentum if he made that bomb catch. It reminded me so much of the MVS drop in our Philly game. The Bills still have enough weapons to build on and I think they will still win the division. And then we’ll see. I actually think that 2025 will be a breakout year for them as they erase that dead cap money.

    Josh's interceptions will go down big time in 2024. Josh will simply throw the ball to the open man instead of looking for Diggs and forcing a stupid throw. I hope Josh learns from this experience and will become more of alpha dawg when it comes to teammates like a Diggs

  • @stevecarey4740
    @stevecarey47403 ай бұрын

    One point I ain’t heard anyone talk about, When we first got Diggs we were throwing the ball all over the yard and no one couldn’t really stop it. Then when they started going into the non stop 12 personal, Diggs targets went down. It’s hard for most players to see a philosophy totally change and know that your targets will go down. Not sure how many players would be ok with that, and if they are ok, I don’t want them on my team. Does say something about any team that would trade anyone just based on cryptic messages. He’s free to use social media just as we do and in anyway he wants to. I don’t understand how people haven’t figured out that most WR are divas and it’s always been that way, they make the flashiest plays, there’s usually an ego behind it, no secret. If the other professionals had a problem with working with someone that’s difficult was to hard, then let them go also. End of the day, you need some assholes, jerks to win it, a roster with none of those, doesn’t work either. End of the day, I’m happy with the move, but Diggs just getting bored and not wanting to be here isn’t the whole story. I don’t think he believed in our offense philosophy.

    With the narcissist Diggs problem Allen had 51 tds this season and post season with 18 interceptions and that is just 2 more picks than Mahomes. Had well less fumbles than Jackson. Allen had no pick 6's unlike both of those overrated stars. Allen threw 0 interceptions and had 0 fumbles lost in the red zone 2023 but he did have 33 tds in the red zone. Those other guys can't say that either. Allen had a better touchdown to turnover margin than Mahomes, Jackson, Hurts and Tua all guys who made the pro-bowl while Josh was snubbed. Josh led the NFL in total touchdowns and total yards and had top-5 stats in virtually every meaningful qb stat. Those others can't say that. Yet which team and which qb is the target of constant ridicule by guys like Stephen A. Smith, Nick Wright and others from the woke Disney/ESPN sports media complex? It was Diggs. Possibly the guy who was feeding nonsense to the media confidentially all along. Narcissists are toxic. They are psychopaths. They pretend to be nice, turn sour and nasty, lack any semblance of accountability (something u cannot say about Allen at all) and then they devalue you (in this case Allen and the team) and then discard you (Allen and the Bills) and he cried for a trade but never wanted to take any of the responsibility for our failures he deserved and simply was subtly or in some instances not so subtly deflecting blame to Allen and others not himself. Never saw Diggs once take accountability for all the bad drops at key moments. Narcissists are the worst. Good riddance to the guy and tell others the truth about narcissist Diggs please.

You didn't even mention the cancer of his brother chiming in. I also think Diggs requested to leave and Beane was happy to be rid of him. He's suffering from some grandiose thoughts of him being the best out there, and he frankly, had a terrible season (mostly second half). Combine that with his age (there would have to be a plan soon for him to be replaced regardless) and this drama and it makes sense.
