I know. And I think deep down.. even when he was with Caroline he was still kind of in love with Elena. There connection was to strong! Them ofc Damon got in the way of that connection.. then he finally broke it.

Am I the only one who got tired of Delena bc it makes me nauseous so I re-watched seasons 1 through 3????
