How do I tell if the air bag is released which way does the bar go?

Did the air bag light come on? Mine did.

Do I have to worry about the clock spring by following ur steps

I accidentally dropped the airbag on one and it ripped off the clock springs connectors 😅😂

Do you happen to have the GM part number or the link for that particular wheel? Looking for a new one complete with the silver accents just like it myself. Thanks!

That won't work to straighten your steering wheel. It can only go on one way because of the splines. If your steering wheel is off take it to a shop and have them align your front end, make sure to tell them to make sure the steering wheel is aligned too......

You can rock the steering wheel off but keep the nut on loose so the wheel doesn't pop off in your face

Always disconnect the ground vs. power

@@mrmotofy It really does matter. You induce more erratic voltage through arcing when you pull positive first. Just watch the sparks when you do it both ways.. While still generally low, it creates a higher potential for ECM damage.

No need for puller. Just rock steering wheel side to side. It will pop lose. Bolt needs to tighten to 30lbs ft. In all its about a 15 min job
