The steering wheel must be removed carefully in order to avoid blows to the face.
In addition to personal care, you must follow certain steps:
Remove the whistle and the cables that connect the whistle or horn, enter the fingertips with the bottom of the whistle and remove the whistle without removing it, disconnect the cables.
With a flat screwdriver, unfold the locks of the central nut of the steering column.
Ask another person for help to hold the steering wheel firmly while using a wrench to loosen the nut.
Loosen the nut all the way to the threaded end BUT DO NOT REMOVE IT, as this will prevent you from hitting yourself when forcibly removing the steering wheel.
Apply force to the steering wheel until it loosens and stops on the nut, remove the nut and remove the steering wheel.
DO NOT FORGET TO MAKE MARKS ON THE STEERING COLUMN BOLT AND ON THE STEERING WHEEL that match and during assembly you make them coincide so that you do not have the steering wheel deviated after assembly.
