Steering head bearings replacement BMW F800R
Motorcycle steering stem bearings replacement and adjustment. Without a press, bearing remover, professional heater etc.
I installed the steering bearing kit AB22-1044: two tapered bearings, two rings and two dust seals.
The bearing should be heated up to 80 degrees Celsius for easy removal/installment. You can use a gas torch. It's good to control the temperature with a meter.
While installing/removing the bearing, put pressure only on the inner race.

I've use a hair dryer for years to heat up bearings ect, works well and doesn't destroy painted surfaces. Also good improvisation of tools, 👌 and nice to see a torque wrench being used on the more critical bolts. I recently bought an F800s that needs the head bearings doing, so your video will be helpful 👍
