Steering cylinder FAILED on 1066 | Then the chain broke trying to get it in the shop.

The steering cylinder block stripped out so we needed to get it into the shop. Well, that was easier said than done. We may have broken a log chain while in the process of moving the tractor.

I agree. A garage with a water hose and floor drains is an amazing thing!
We had an 826 oh and always had problems with the front end. The pivot on the back side that used what looked like a ball hitch was always breaking or wallowing out. Other than that and if it was below 60 degrees it needed either it wasn't a bad tractor.
