I know this is a very old video but it is still helpful. Considering rebuilding my steering box. This helps show that it is not hard just takes time and patience.

Merci, tres bien expliqué, il y a combien de billes dans le ball nut a recirculation d'huile ? , moi j'en ai compté 62 billes mais j'ai l'impression qu'on peut en mettre plus

Awesome! Torque Spec's? 18~42 in lbs or Foot pounds for the ball gate clamp? Foot pounds seems like a lot????How long are the race bearing parts left in the freezer? Pre load only to 4 to 5 in lbs or foot pounds for worm shaft adjuster? Or complete torque is 4 to 5 inch or foot pounds?

What grease or oil did you use in the manual box, and how much is needed?

I just did one. I reused everything. As long as water never got in it all the parts inside should be ok. It never see's high loads, or high stress, or friction.
