I bought the Apex 5 as my first mechanical keyboard last year but the blue switches were starting to get annoying to listen to. Just bought an Apex 7 with brown switches and it's a much better experience for me. No longer does it keep people up when I'm typing!

Thanks :) I use the apex 5 and apex 7 in different setups, i dont really think of any difference while gaming after switching setup, so both are good buys. :)

I have the Apex Pro TKL and I tried the apex 5 in store and if I had the 5 I would swap it out with the pro from time to time because I really like how light and clicky the switches are. You really can't go wrong with any of them except for the Apex 3 which I wouldn't recommend over an entry level mechanical keyboard

Hi.. loved ur video.. i wanna ask something.. steelseries apex series came out 2019.. now 2021 already... the previous gens before apex is in 2018 m750 etc. Would it better if I wait for next gens or just buy apex pro.. since we all know there r some cons with apex pro.. USB etc.

Yeah i figure that out.... I have an issue though. When i enable this app and put my PC on sleep mode. When i open (the pc) up again the lights of my keyboard dont open at all! Any suggestion on what to do about it?

apparently my w key wont work (i needed to use the virtual keyboard just to type it) i have a laptop and currently the onboard keyboard broke, so this is a big issue i used a havit trash keyboard and it lasted 5 months at least, so dont buy expensive if you can

The apex 7 is the better one. Usb pass through and read mechanical switches, but no a very big difference.

im thinking of getting the 7 because my 5 stopped working, im thinking about the 7 because it doesnt have the membrane which is what i think messed up on my 5

Yes, it will probably last longer :) but I feel maybe the apex 7 will get some appearance update soon. But the current one still looks really good and modern.

I believe that both have the same click mechanism so they'll sound the same, if you want a quiet board I wouldn't go for a clicky keyboard

Apex 5 have cheaper hybrid switches. Membrane and click, apex 7 is fully mechanical. The difference in feeling is not big, so when switching I don’t think I would notice it. The apex 5 is maybe louder.

Their headsets all the same. Arctis 1 to 3, 5 , 7 ,9 , all use same driver and mic. Only the pro is different Love their products. Very high quality

Apex 7 is not really better, but the lights looks better, you have the usb port on the keyboard and somewhat better keys.

Not really fake. The switch is mechanical the actual key press is registered differently. I just got mine today after 2 years of using a logitecg g513. In my opinion the apex is far superior, AND has a better feel when you press the keys. It is unfortunate that logitech lowered their quality. Mine had faulty led lights after just a few months and started to register single presses as double or tripple.
