Hump on the top of the blade is a brilliant way to get weight distributed in the right spot without limiting the blade's ability to pierce or slice. This design is up at the top for me in regards to a true pocket-sized defensive knife.

I have had my LARGE BLACK/BLACK PLAGUE DOCTOR for a week now it is AWESOME :-)

I don't need bearings and a knife for what I use a knife for.

Think I'm liking the large green and black is cool.

I know the big one its self defense orientated. Now for self defense I prefer Tri-Ad or fixed but for people who prefer a linerlock this is one the best out there.

I see somebody over at Steel Will has been reading 4chan green text stories. 😁 These knives are perfectly named. The blade profile has a unique look. A little quirky, but, I like it. They look like they'd be great EDC work knives.

I really like the design. Yes it is different but that may be the reason I like it. I wish the large one came in Satin or Stonewash. I think it is one I will get both sizes. You know I like the big monster knives. Look forward to next review. Really enjoyed this one. Your right it is nice to see someone else struggle with the disassembly. That way you know what to expect.

It's another one of them 'the more I look at it the more I like it' knives.

Kind of want one for its uniqueness

Break them in and then check to see if the coated the area around the washers. If so clean the coating off the washer area. Adjust the pivot then oil the pivot and readjust. It should be every bit as smooth as any bearing pivot.

I've been eyeing one since I saw it on the shot show reviews in Jan,picked up the "mini" or regular size last week in black with satin-I think it's a perfect regular sized pocket knife,the blade is supposed to look like the plague doctor's mask or a raven/crow's head. Only thing I can point to as an issue is my blade was off center because as I found the pivot was loose as hell and it slips every time you open it so I need to get some blue thread locker. Otherwise great knife,it's found a home in my pocket with my light and folding pliers.

BTW LTK did you get the extra pocket clip? Mine came with two (right and left)

Saw your comment on knife centers website thinking bout picking one of these up how has it held up since then?

@@Yungdaggerbrick Held up fine,about the only thing I'd change is I'd get the black stonewash over the satin since the satin shows EVERY bit of gunk you may get on it,just putting hands on the blade and you have to wipe it off LOL don't ask about when I use it on food,but no rust so all good

Would love to see actual knife utilized verses floor model presentation. Bearing focus, and?

A sagittal crest looks good on a Bigfoot but not so much on these knives.

How does the large model feel in a hammer grip?

I am thinking of not buying a knife set for myself and just getting a big combat knife, a folder like this one, and a spork/knife combo. Would you recommend the knife?

The struggle is real! I have yet to get a steel will. I love a big blade. What would you recommend if to only have one?

Break it in and lube with sewing machine oil and it'll be a finger guillotine. My BM Rift is smoother than any bearing pivot knife I have.

I had to look at the date of the video. This was BEFORE the scamdemic 😆 🤣. I'm really digging this knife. I want the Modus & Cutjack, too. Great review LTK

That may be one of the ugliest knives I have ever seen. But your disassembly was indeed amusing.... your running commentary was good. Thanks, gonna pass on the Plague Dr.... way better knives around for 65 bucks.

It's a very specialized design. Few folding knives are anything like these even if you double or triple the price. Think of the ideal weight for length, ergonomics, edge thickness, etc. vs lightweight toy that can cut 500 boxes before sharpening.

Perhaps the whiniest most annoying voice on any man alive......I had to turn it off.
