Sarah interrupts the people she meets incessantly, she’s very rude, she is so self absorbed, it’s all about Sarah, I dunno know how or why people put up with that, she would itch my temper and I would tell her to get lost, berating her about her hairy pits, and ruin her video!

The fighter jets have a flight path called Star Wars canyon. It starts nearly Crowley overlook. WH, you ought to research and do a story about it. A few years ago, a fighter pilot crashed into the side of the canyon.

Being born and raised and lived most of my life in central Idaho. I have done some pretty knarly off roading. But I lived in southern Nevada for 21 years and I can tell you the roughest roads are there or near there. In central Idaho we get into verticle. Like 45 degrees or so. But the rocks and rough terrain of the southwest is bone jarring. Good job navigating it all.
Wonderful ride-a-long. Mike and his Astro ate that trail up. Recorded in Wonderhussy-vision. Great job by both of you. Stay safe Sarah.

Great meeting Mike! What an adventure! How great was that!
Jeep Wrangler and Gladiators are the ONLY body on frame vehicles being built today, well accept the Mercedes G class vehicle. That means the suspension and drivetrain articulate off of a frame that is not compromised by the integration of the body into a frame and so the axles are able to articulate and twist to a much greater degree than any other vehicle, the Mercedes G is probably comparable but the cost is at least 120K and is very heavy, which is not an advantage! The axles have swing arms, tie rods, that tie the axles to the frame with ball links and rubber bushing so the swing arms are not ridged like on the rear of a motorcycle, they allow the axles to twist, especially when the sway bar is disconnected. I KNOW these things are TRUE because I installed the 2.5 inch lift on my Gladiator MYSELF! What difference does this make? It allows the tires to float independently according to the terrain so they will not lose traction or get stuck just because the road is not flat. THAT VAN WILL GET STUCK WHEN THE ROADS GET WONKY! Bead lock wheels a special new type that are street legal, air dump air valves to air down the tires rapidly, 37” by 12” tires and I also installed some 3rd party skid plates over the differentials and other parts, and installed thick steel reinforcement parts around the steering linkages. This is all typical Jeep enhancement stuff, I did do some tricks the with refrigerator freezer I installed that I have never seen anyone else do in a Gladiator or Wrangler or other vehicle. All these things add weight to the vehicle so with a gas engine the mileage would have been dropping, but not with a high torque diesel the rapid acceleration and good mileage HAS NOT CHANGED!
Great video and music editing on this one Sarah. Your skills really shine on these more complex shoots.
Respect to the Astro Van Community! 👍👍
Pristine 36 year old Toyota pickup! That's how Toyotas roll. Previously owned by Marty McFly?
You and Mike make great videos together!!!
Luv that puppy! Really big show! Thanks for sharing!
Very impressive Astro van but look at that 36 year old Toyota Hilux! Almost bone stock and no drama.
I will never look at a Chevy Astro van the same way ever again nice job Mike I forget your name
GM actually did advertise the Astro and safari vans as midsize. Flaunting that it was larger than the competitors but still small enough for family outings and tough enough for daily work vehicle.
Back in the late 2000's, my friends and I did a lot of trips down to DV, doing these trails on our dual sport motorcycles.
My best friends first vehicle when he turned 16 was a hand me down Astro Van. It was white and had fake wood siding. We had a lot of great times in that Astro Van.
The new Ford Bronco’s have been determined to be quite fragile, don’t hold up as well as Jeeps and they are not body on frame vehicles so they can’t articulate as much as Jeeps. No good for rock crawling, not even a little bit! The type of suspension the Broncos have is good for desert racing, but not rock crawling. I have owned a couple Ford F150s and I was very happy with them for work, but for exploring, I WANT A JEEP RUBICON!
It is always about choosing the right track. Much like life. Choose the right path for you if you can.
I'd take that 80's Toyota out there long before I took a 2023 Wrangler...
That was fun, I no longer have a four-wheel-drive, so it is nice to watch videos like this.

I loved this. I grew and am in Tennessee where switchback curves, ruts, and gravel are a way of life. More so years ago than now but woo eeeee. My father made me learn how to drive a 59 Chevy on a long steep hill and not roll back more than a dime and mind you, manual gears and a clutch. I am still the talk of the town 50 years later. Partly because I was no more than 90 lbs.
You add fun to to a day. Mike Rocks. What a good guy. Fun day wish I was at th hot springs. Love to meet you. Blessings

Cutest co-pilot ever!
Cool adventure. I have been off roading for about 20 years on some of the roughest trails anywhere, including all the famous mountain trails in Colorado and Moab UT. I started with a 1987 Nissan Pathfinder, then a Nissan Xterra, and now, wait for it,…………..a Subaru Outback. I carry a come-a-long and hi lift Jack and have only had to use either one time. I used to air down my tires like the conventional wisdom demands, but learned quickly that it only helps in deep sand. It is not good for rocky terrain, in fact, makes the vehicle ride terrible and extremely bouncy. I now keep my all terrain tires inflated to 32 psi and have a solid ride and no traction issues. Try it.

I had a Subaru Brat - had tons of fun in it all over Nevada and eastern Oregon. Upgraded to a Suzuki Samari! More fun. Always had lockers and standard transmission - the only way to fly! Finally upgraded again about 20 years ago to a F150 4x4. Still standard tranny and lockers - easy street! It’ll last me ‘till I head up to that old cabin in the sky (with my rusty old halo)
Fantastic video!!! Well done to you all!!!🤩😃🤩

Best and nerve wracking WonderHussy Off Road adventure in Mike's Not your Grandma's Mini van!
Yes!! 🎉🩷
I remember those just for fun days, we've followed some of the same paths. Love to see your revisit, for me, videos.
Great Video, Sarah, reminds me of a day (1975) when a friend of mine who was into VW's, went off roading, we took a stock VW Bus up Tuna Canyon road on the coast, then proceeded up a goat track to the summit of the local mountain, At the summit, we surprised a Jeepster who was all proud about getting to the Summit. Stole his thunder big time.
Technical? Technical? We used to call those areas of offloading freeways! I know my truck could do all that in 2WD. No, brag, just fact. See that front tire spinning at that one waterfall. That's where a limited slip differential would do wonders. Nice adventure!
At 13:26, where the road takes a sharp left turn, take the small valley to the right and after 100 yards there is the marble bath.
