This guy owned Steel Panther, I usually watch interviewers get destroyed by their jokes but he aced it with: "Hey nice iphone! Yeah I got it from your mom". Sir, that was EPIC.

They are very intelligent guys they know how to get people to watch their content. So to speak this is their USP unique selling point. I personally believe they are extremely talented lyricists vocalists and instrumentalists. They should try not to deviate away too much from their music.

Yeah, its called having an alter ego. Its used by almost every person in entertainment and steel panther chose to be a satire of the 80s. Don't think many people take anything they say seriously but thats not the point. Its all about a good show and having a fun time and yeah you can have a really fun time with those guys if your into it. If not... well don't care and move on.
