Donnie explains the differences between steel clubs and maces. Even though both fitness tools resemble each other, there are some distinct characteristics in their uses in training and in their physics. Maces and Clubs have been used to train warriors for battle over the past 3,000 years and are still being used in the same manner today - the oldest of the old school fitness training. Build strength and endurance with clubs & maces and get your body in the best shape it can be using Clubs & Maces. This modality is perfect for HIIT type workouts, Tabatas, High or Low Rep Range Training. Clubs are also used to rehab injured shoulders, to increase ROM, and for Recuperation after Heavy Weight Training Sessions.
This demonstration was done using the Adex Adjustable Club and Mace. Even though both fitness tools resemble each other It all comes down to how you want to train.

Clubs and maces are the truth. My collection is getting really big. I tend to beat myself up with them a bit but it’s all part of learning

Lots of ideas in this video, the traction effect, the older people idea, keeping upper body strong without bulking, using as ancillary training to counter compression of traditional training. Could explore some of these in more detail in your new beach vids !!

I have your adjustable club and spacers. I have yet to see a video explaining the positioning of the spacers and steel plates. (Similarly, Kettlebell Kings adjustable kettlebell didn't go into those details either) The positioning of the plates and spacers changes the center of gravity and the 'Feel" of the devices when swinging them. Thank you.

I felt this way until training with a mace and now realize the importance of the club to keep things loose. I feel that they work very well in conjunction with one another not one versus the other.

Hi thank you for this really useful video, I would like to ask you some questions so that I can follow up and get started. I am an almost 64 year old man would you suggest that I start with a club or a mace. What respective weights would you suggest for an absolute beginner? Are Alex clubs and maces available in theUK? Thanks, Derek..

Being American made, the quality alone is worth the cost, above the economics of the expense of purchasing individual clubs that offer the weight range of a single Adex Club.

The video was a generalization of maces and clubs regarding any brand of these tools, not just a commercial for Adex products. Our channel does have a video showing the adjustable feature.
