i would change the color scheme its looks to similar to Diamondback's but this is really good and well made

I got chills. As someone who has ridden all of Kings Island’s big coasters several times, this would be a worthy successor of the Fire Hawk and would rightfully earn a place in the Beast family

The Hawk I’m not calling this a SOB revival. Just another addition, and a more permanent addition to the park. Most thought here was a revival with the posters at Cedar Point, one claiming 5 is alive. They wouldn’t construct a wooden structure and dub it Son of Beast 2.0 due to a bad history of the former. And even if they were to revive the Son of Beast, the layout probably wouldn’t even be close to the original. In my mind, nothing is going over where Banshee currently is, that’s why this ride is located in the back of X-base...If I explained too much, I’m sorry😂

The Hawk I know. I was just saying for anyone else that this wasn’t supposed to be a revival, but what you said is correct. Banshee is there, and there isn’t much space to put a coaster in Son of Beasts station unless you removed the Bat (which I don’t see happening anytime soon)

Awesome layout. Now for my own opinion on the giga. I think Kings Island May do something totally out in left field. Maybe build the first Giga with a loop or inversion. With the rumors of sob returning. (Which is highly unlikely) a ground breaking B&M giga with a inversion would be crazy unique. Now before anyone stats b&m wouldn’t place inversions on gigas or hypers. A few years back at IAPA b&m was asked if they would ever build a hyper with a inversion. And they stated they couldn’t talk about that at this time. And winked. So I’m assuming ones coming.

Except it's NOT happening. Cedar fair has OTHER parks in the chain to worry about bringing up to standard right now. Besides KI was demoted from the top 4 spoiled parks list in favor of CGA recently.

Very nice video. I like how you showed the night ride as KI has the best collection of coasters for night rides in the world. Also with everyone expecting this GIGA do not be surprised if this is a STRATA, making it the only coaster with a lift hill (no launch) over 400 feet in the world, as well as shattering every record with tallest, fastest, longest, Etc. Etc. KI is my home park and we have been waiting for something BIG since S.O.B. left us.

This is a really nice concept. But you know what would also be awesome in my opinion would be that it would be the first Giga coaster with a loop. But that's just my opinion.

This is a pretty cool concept. I’d prefer the concept for “The Ledge” since it has that dive element but this one isn’t bad.

Geezus that lift hill seems ENDLESS! I nearly wet myself thinking how high up that will be (especially compared to the 315 ft Eiffel Tower) :O

How do people that do this for fun not work for the big rollercoaster manufacturers so much untapped creativity

Great job! I hope the giga will be something like this (though I'm hoping it'll go at least 100 MPH). I've heard that the Kings Island giga will be called Centurion. While I'd like that name, I do like some other ones (which I came up with), such as Screamscape, Megalodon, Cerberus, Jörmungandr (a sea serpent from Norse mythology that is so long that it encircles the world), and Hypersonic (since that would fit the X-Base theme).

This would be a great addition to Kings Island. This would make good sense since there is Fury 325 at Carrowinds. We already know that Kings Island signed on to B & M for the project in 2020.

Love this concept. The only thing i would change is the direction. There is so much land back there in the opposite direction and it could include a new midway expansion back there past the theater

This is awesome! Two comments, super small. First, I LOVE the layout, but a coaster with so many quick changes in banking would more likely be an Intamin, and two, I would build the whole brake-run at an angle rather than just a portion, it makes it more comfortable that way.

Very nice presentation. But if your going to use the the name Beast. I'd like to see something low to the ground . That goes out into the woods and uses the terrain. With some I305 types of turns. And some tunnels. And maybe huge loop to pay homage to SOB. Dosent have to be the tallest Giga but make it the longest. That way you can still keep Carowind fans happy. But still deliver the best coaster ever.

Theres not enough force to propel this ride like it shows. Kick ass concept though

The lats seem too intense for a coaster this big and fast. Then again, that makes this a uniquely intense B&M giga. I guess it's a matter of opinion. Either way, awesome ride!!

So much steel named coasters. First Steel Vengeance in Cedar Point, then the Steel Curtain in Kennywood, and now the Steel Beast for Kings Island. Edit: just found out that this isn't an official ride. But still, all amazing coasters.

I love it! But, I honestly think that Steel Beast doesn't really match the theme of Xbase if they are going to keep the Xbase thing going. But, if not, then I think the name would work.

It’s very loose theme. One of the creatures from Area X-Base escaped containment and is now running through the backwoods of Kings Island. Something like that, again very loose.

That's actually a kinda neat story. I think a great teaser for it would be some sort of danger or hazard sign and maybe have some hazard types of signs like in a laboratory in the queue line.

would be nice, however, Kings Island always gives us lack luster rides

Such a layout fantastic layout! Curiously enough though, I have a proposed layout that, is kind of a mix between Fury 325, Leviathan, and Shambhala, that although may not occur in the next B&M giga, just as a layout for you possibly try out in a park. Lifthill:320 feet.*height may vary* Drop: 310 feet.*varies* First element: A turn around that passes under itself, sort of like the diving turnaround on stand up coasters BUT MUCH larger. Barrel Turn Stengel dive Ejector Airtime hill Ampersand Figure-8 helix S bend Stengel dive Overbanked hill(or camelback hill depending on which you choose) Camelback hill Mid-course(block sections might be needed if it is very long, if not then you can exclude this) Turn into a smaller overbank turn under the first element. Camelback hills to the station(splashdown optional) Fury-break run.

Indeed, but at the moment, I have no means to translate it, as my laptop isn't exactly ideal for the job at the moment. But overall, what do you think of this proposed layout? Anything to point out? *This is for if I possibly get around to translating it, what would you say*(I also personally translated it into Planco, so this was kind of based of experience there. This was before technically problems plaguing the pc later on, for unknown reasons)

Basically a twisty overbank with a fancy name, or just Fury 325's first turn after the drop.

That first element was too forceful and jerky but it was a cool concept. The big airtime hill was great. Wish B&M would make a giga with the airtime equivalent to Skyrush
