This is a new machine which I thought was the best engineered, priced at around £290.00 which includes the rod rollers. Here's the spec for the cyclops roller machine;

Nifty tool. The operational issue I can see would be the setup/switch-over time between flat bar and round bar. Having to put in the pins with so much effort, calls for a faster solution. Having a lathe on hand and a workshop does present itself with the possibility of coming up with a chance for some re-engineering, heh? Thanks for sharing Darren. Much appreciated.

Thanks as ever. I agree a fast change over from flat to rod is called for or maybe the pins once used a couple of times may wear in and become less of a job?
