It was said in his journal that he began to become obsessed with pirates. Blackbeard and a far previous pirate named Henry Every. Make another one of that, people would love stede bonnets journal. I watched a documentary about it. Its boring at first, but then it gets good. However, if anyone has watched "Our flag means death" and its a show about him. Everything is accurate, but there are some speculations of other things. But one part of that show is inaccurate and that's towards the end. What is the most time consuming is the fact they would have to do research and condense it into the 20 minute informative format that this channel is known for. While they would have gotten around to Stede eventually, he clearly got priority. Not hating, but to call this a "coincidence" is bollocks.
