This is a vintage 8mm home movie of a trip to Steamtown, shortly after it opened in 1995. This is back when they actually had a full assortment of operating steam trains and rides…. The attraction is still open in Scranton Pa (USA) however I have not been there in many years, last time I was there, there were no operating steam locomotives left. I believe since then in 2023 they may have one working now!
This is vintage unedited footage from my home movies, the camera was a handheld Sony 8mm video camera without Steady shot so this video maybe a bit choppy and shaky at times. I was a kid when I shot the video so it is what it is!
