Indeed. I still wonder why so many people make excuses for unsanitary preparation of street food in India, blaming it on poverty or culture, when there are people like these that cook and handle their foods in an apparently sanitary manner.

Awesome she is clean n neat. Healthy snacks n she is using jaggery. It's good to health.she is honest to her job hats off sissy

I just love these videos showing Indian cooking, they seem to have some really great methods and tools, as a Chef I am always studying new methods for me, or old in other parts of the world. I am lucky to have a great Indian grocery near me where they have the best spice collection I have ever seen.

In telugu we call it as pittu.. Mostly we make it with jowar.. Very healthy..it is a mixture of jaggery.,ghee, n grated coconut

We malaysian also have this kind of food n we called putu buluh or bamboo putu. The putu is small bite size n cooked / steamed using bamboo. The taste definately awsome n loved by majority of the westerners. Thanks to India coz sharing the food via immigration of indian native long time ago. We really appreciate it.

Putu is originally from India... History bring this food to Southeast asia country like Malaysia, singapore, brunei, and Indonesia. and time by time it has been adapted or changing to suit local taste. I believe this food was brought by indian merchants and during Colonial era. Bukannya putu juga ada disana ya.. Tetapi putu asalnya dari sana.

This snack is called puttu it is prepared by rice flour ragi flour after streaming gratedcoconut andsugaris added it is delcious dish often taken in breakfast my mother prepares this dish

Thanks for the video.Ragi is the panacea for diabetes ,lifestyle disease which has become common everywhere.

This is called Puttu. South indian dish. Made with different flours like rice, ragi, millet, corn flour, etc. The flour is mixed with water, salt and then it's steamed. Then its mixed with sugar/jaggery/palm sugar along with grated coconut. Or sometimes fried with onions and green chillies to get spicy flavour
