The groove of this song is unrecognized by our current understanding of science.

This is easily one of their best songs in their discography. Love the Joshua-Homme style vocals on this album

Smooth, dark. And eerie. With that sing-song-y feel. A real treat.

as a drummer, I'll be listening to some mastodon, hear a song that seams to have a somewhat learnable groove, get psyched, and then hear the chorus.

I see him, through this. The Steambreather. I see his locomotion, his gait, and his insecure expression, despite his massive size and intimidating shape. That's what I love about Mastodon; they show me through their music as much as their lyrics what they're trying to convey. One of the GOATs, love you guys! \m/^_^\m/

This is a great song to listen to while on the highway crossing the country. I'm not on the the highway or crossing the country, but to me, it's just one of those songs, you know. My favorite line from this song is "Helping you find the golden crown" \m/

Love this Band. Own every T-shirt and album. Seen them twice. ALL albums are amazing, as artists, they've moved on to different sounds and their Vocals have improved Ten fold.
