As a steamship enthusiast, the fact that they showed the engine room was an absolute win

This hits that perfect blend of funny and uncanny, considering you can see random bystanders nearby just observing the different parts of the boat while someone in a Steamboat Willie mask just stands around and acts goofy. Either way, this is more interesting than the horror game and movies that sites like IGN are talking about currently.

I don't know if it was your intention to make this creepy, but if it was, you succeeded. Whether it be the greyscale filter making all of the windows look like static, the monotonous, eerie music combined with the lack of any other sound, or the costume work. The costume on its own irks me, whether it be how you can see the eyeholes and even chipped paint cracks in the mask in some shots, the constant facial expression that the mask has, how the hair isn't too well hidden, or how the rest of the costume is baggy pants ands a body suit with black gloves.

Yea! Mickey Mouse (1928 species) is in the public domain; he's out of copyright! You can NOW legally use, copy, and exhibit Mickey Mouse for free but you CANNOT do it for monetary gain (from the character Mickey himself directly) AND you must portray him in a positive light. The reason being he is STILL trademarked, even the Steamboat Willie version. As a filmmaker, a historian, live actor, voice actor, fan of Disney and Mickey Mouse and a cartoonist, I am thinking of making my own design of the cartoon character Mickey Mouse and making a comic and movie series of him.

@@qwertyTRiG Yes, but I think it's important to credit Walt Disney for making Mickey. Legally you can plagiarize a public domain work, but morally you shouldn't. It's not _inherently_ wrong to state the name "Disney" when making new works of art/fiction. You should and can use it as long as it's not about the company but rather the man who founded it. You can't copyright names, short phrases and titles but you can trademark them.

Just have to disagree with it being morally wrong. I give a slight exception for an author continuing to issue his creation, but 1 of my favorite books is from an author you've never heard about. Me writing a sequel wouldn't be morally wrong. The characters are looooooong dead- 1920's no one knows them. In reality, for decades, Disney simply used the rat errr mouse as an advertising gimmick and made 0 movies/TV shows with him. It wasn't till they had to fill their network with shows, that they made something with him. They fully deserve what they get. A good/great character shouldn't be abused by the creator's company, it should be used. We got ancient mermaid movies, we got ancient native American movies, why didn't we get a Mickey movie? Screw them. But then again, I'm adult enough to not care and still think Disney is great- if I had kids young enough to like it.
