Fond memories ... when I was 8 years old, my mother took my sister and I on a trip halfway across the USA, steam engines all the way! We went on the Super Chief of the Santa Fe Railway.

What a beautiful noise! One can hear the power in the puffs. Pity it is only 8 minutes long, at least an hour will make the best lullabye.

Love it! Exactly what I was looking for! A really great sound to help me ground, focus & motivate in my overly quiet yet busy day. I'm old enough to remember this sound a bit, and young enough that it feels like familiar delicious memory yet fascinating, just-out-of-reach history. I can smell the trainyard and how the world was back when. Diesel, black oil, steel, foods cooking, dusty soil, black garden soil... sweat of hardworking men everywhere in the tree-scented air.
