If they can get the price decent/competitive its golden. Literally no one has been asking for those stupid high res screens on these mobile devices. 1080p 120hz Oled is perfect. Dual USB4 and a full length ssd. this this is actually perfect.

The UI is honestly my major concern when it comes to these. Do they have a custom interface? And what about steam integration? comparatively Small companies might not be able to support that device for long.

The biggest problem with these companies is how are they going to support their system in the long run. Look how legion go, it gets update very rarely and even the msi claw is already giving up on their first attempt and already planning to release a new version of the claw. Not gonna lie this looks kinda neat. I like the idea of the dials around the sticks and that they put touchpads on it.

@enderspider5001
4 күн бұрын
@@jimbobcheezeburger2020 been awhile since I saw the vid so I forgot what the Zotac has so I’ll just list everything the steam deck has besides basic Xbox inputs: - capacitive joysticks (basically it can sense when your finger is resting upon one of the joysticks) - dual, pressure sensing, trackpads with haptic feedback - 4 programmable back buttons - gyro Obviously, all of this is greatly enhanced by the addition of Steam Input Software that let’s you customize the hell out of these controls. This is not unique to the steam deck as it’s simply a steam feature, but it gets special love when used on a steam deck obviously. For example, you can configure multiple leves of pressure on each trackpad activating different radial menus and basically have “infinite buttons” that way
0:30 The AYANEO Air 1S has an 1080p oled, but only 5.5 inch 60hz. At 16/9 it is just a bit smaller than the Razer Edge
Those dual trackpads might actually make it a competitor to the Steam Deck. The dual trackpads on the Steam Deck have been instrumental in my ability to use Steam input to play games like "Dragon Age: Origins" that don't have any native controller support.
I'm pretty happy to see that more and more devices are getting good-to-great HDR performance. So many people were burnt on ''HDR-ready'' (basically) Tv's and monitors to the point that there's tens of thousands of post online saying ''I don't see it'' and ''HDR is nonsense'' that that stuff ruined the reputation of HDR like Google Cardboard (and Phone-) ruined VR for many people :p
2:30 Uhhh. No. Absolutely not. The last thing I want on my handheld gaming device is a webcam. Anyone bothering to daily drive it will have their own dedicated camera on USB hub, which tbh is probably going to be a much better image anyways.
only two rear buttons is a huge deal breaker for me unfortunately. I am very used to having four.
Front camera and kickstand are great additions, as plenty of people use their handhelds as daily drivers. But why only 16 gigs od RAM?
