Barefoot is the best! I use Zero Shoes because they are the only ones that fit my big ol' foot. Their size 14 Z Trail is cut large enough to cover my size 16 foot. I would love to have a Sprinter like that. I don't know how I could go full time with it, but I could for sure do a couple of weeks, about 3 or 4 times a year along with many weekend trips. It would be great for fly fishing trips as well as wildlife photography. Thanks for sharing your experience and spirit with us!

Every time i see little Rodney my heart swells because he makes me emotional. Right before you announced you were keeping him you took him to the vet, i still remember them taking him into the back room and his little trusting heart and little head bob made me cry because i thought you were giving him back to the shelter. Im so glad you kept him, and he absolutely loves you. Tribute to Rodney.

I remember that video as well. It made me so happy to see Rodney rescued and becoming playful then becoming upset when he was taken into the back room. I was so mad I was going to make a comment about it, how awful it was to take Rodney out, get him all excited and then return him and walk away. But I decided to wait until the next video to see what happens and was relieved to see he is now a permanent family member.

I agree about getting back off grid. We had our fiber go down and while it was done I read a book. It was really enjoyable to actually read a book that I had bought years ago and just not made the time. When retirement finally rolls around I have a stack of them to catch up on. Keep up the great video's. They are very engaging and convince me I need to go back to the intermountain west and vacation. It has sure changed in the 40 years since I lived out there.

Hi Nikki... The great outdoors! Back to your roots. A nice laid back kind of video. Simply enjoying nature. Even in a crowd. And it's so obvious Nikki, you really do influence, inspire or push a lot of people to get off their fat "couches" put down their remote/phone and start... Start to see, smell, hear, touch, taste new experiences. Sometimes right in their own "backyard", sorta speak. To explore. Be it soaking in a lake, hiking steep hills, canyons, caves, trails or parks. Or something as simple as looking up (from any devices) to notice the sky and the surroundings. I really like flat shoes as well now. The knees over toes guy got me into Xero shoes. They totally helped me get over my achilles tendinitis. It took a bit to get used to but once I did it was amazing. I am never going back.

I've also changed to barefoot shoes. They have made a difference for me. I fell on my knees several times and had a lot of pain but not anymore. Love your videos. Keep up the good work.

You should check out the hot springs at black rock city.. where Burning Man is held. Just drive onto the dry flat lands and go all the way left to the hills. They are in those hills. Go at night or early in the morning ✌🏻💙🌞

My dog came in during the hike and was so excited to see the other dogs.

I like the vaccum fix I went to Galveston and the mosquitoes were awful. def adding that to my camper list of items needed
