With the proper kit camping in the rain is great. The sound of the rain on the tarp is soothing. For me anyways. Thanks for sharing. Take care and stay safe.

Yeah, he's awesome.
When the maize is taller, it offers a great screen. I've actually fished in farm ponds where I'd be totally exposed and visible but once the sweetcorn is 5 ft tall, I can walk unseen and fish for hours. With maize, once growing well, few farmers actually walk their field boundaries etc and visit only when harvesting occurs. Once grown up a bit, the edge of a maize field will hide any tent......................... The hedge site is excellent. Perfect spot. Great vid'. :)

For anyone who has not really camped; this is real camping. Great vid, no stupid poser bs.
Really enjoyed this one! Love the idea of disappearing into a hedge 👍 also the sound of the rain made you really want to hunker down!
Great video Billy. That’s my idea of camping tbh. I love being in a tent etc and just lie there listening to the rain. So relaxing.
Love the vids Billy! You are one of my favourite youtubers at the moment! Keep it coming!!
hi, great hedgerow camp video billy. nice new items of kit too. that snail was lucky he didn't end up in the pot l'escargot style! kind regards.
Lovely camp Billy and good to see you out in the rain & not a far weather camper! Love the content ATB 👍🏻
Yes Billy love the content! Me and my mate did a 2 night stealth hammock camp in the Goyt Valley this last weekend, some great spots there I can send a few videos of them if you ever run out of ideas
Got to admire you mate you do a over night wild camp with hardly any sleep and yet your up in the morning to go to work. I hope you had dry socks before shift dude.

Hi Billy. This was my first video I watched of yours & it got me hooked. I’ve just watched it again about 6 months later. It would be great to see another hedgerow stealth camp video again as I really enjoyed it. I’m still plucking up the courage to do one myself, but I’m nearly 61 years old & my bones are aching a bit these days 🤣 Keep up the good work I really look forward to your new videos . Take care mate 🙋🏼♂️

Enjoyed that Billy, good stealth camp - roll on the next.
Great video, good to see someone using the Dutch bivvy and tarp combo. Grab yourself a pair of British army boots, cheap, comfy and waterproof if waxed regularly 👍🏻
Thanks for the ideas mate! Just coming back from the US for extensive hiking and wild camping in Scotland! I’ve subscribed
Awesome stealth camp mate. One of my favorite bits of kit is a gas candle lamp. Only costs about 15 quid and screws onto the butane can.
Great Video Billy, at a nice relaxed and well explained pace. Enjoyed it. Keep up the good work. Them Ponchos aren't really up to much as in waterproofing, found that out in the Falklands on tour 2005. We found that two tent poles either end give a better pitch, a bit like the old fashioned tent shape. Warmer too. Off to watch more of your Vids.
Really enjoyed that one! Looked like a great spot to camp, quiet, private and cosy apart from that ivy ground cover stuff. I like Crabbies too, we get it over here in Canada,it's tasty. Looking forward to the next one! Thanks!!
So good to see real stealth camping, this channel is going to be huge. The English Steve Wallis?
Best stealth cook so far, I bet that pasta felt amazing out there in the rain!!
Watched several of your videos now and liked + subscribed - doing 1st solo camp next week near where I live and looking forward to it. Keep up the good work and keep the videos coming :)
Perfect spot for a sneaky stealther, love it!
Great video. I had never thought of a tarp and a Bivvy. Especially like folding it over for a dry floor. Ive been bike packing with a tent but think I'll swop out for this method as weight and space is an issue. Many thanks for the content too, just the right length of time and covers everything. I've subscribed.

We had an instructor in the army that used to make the phase 1 recruits put one basha on the floor and one above as shelter. Sounds great until you get some rain and the one on the floor traps the rain and you wake up soaked in a swimming pool. Better to just let the rain soak away into the soil around your basha.
I hope you're channel keeps growing, I like you're genuine vibe👍
Do some video searches for the DD 3x3 tarp and it will show what the loops are for inside your tarp...which was likely inside out. A few You Tubers have put together videos showing around 10 different configurations you can do with that style tarp and they're pretty cool. Great video, keep it up!
Keep it up mate, so nice of you to share everything with us!
Thanks for the upload. Your content is really watchable and inspiring.
I'm happy you've gotten so popular. You deserve it! Humble, simple camps from a cool dude. Keep it up, we all love it! P.S. get some shirts made. Something with a roundabout on it! 😎

I have the xL dutch bivi too. Only tent you will ever need if on ur own. I love it.
Loops are probably for poles to reduce sag I would say on tarp. Good video of the first I've seen so got some catch up to do so far so good.
spot on mate love these videos! keep it up! i would of gone in the darker area seemed more couther from the elements and more space and you even had a seat!
Hi Billy, greetings from sunny, locked down Malaysia 🇲🇾.British summertime at its best, I see. Still miss those long summer days even after 16 years out here... but don't miss the unpredictable weather. We only have 2 choices out here - hot and dry or hot and wet 🤣. Great little stealth camp despite the inclement weather but that's all part of the adventure. Look forward to your next one. Take care buddy and stay safe 😷
New subscriber (just now, actually) and my first time watching. Can’t wait to see the upload about your van that you mentioned in this one! Take care and hope you find the right fit for your feet (a bit of a pun, sorry).
...nothing better than a stealth camp in the rain. Thank you.
Great to watch your videos, Billy, takes me back to my youth.
That's a great spot you found. In the rain, with camo and that low profile setup the only way you would be found is if the military were after you with thermal imaging gear, so unless your not telling us something, nice job out there. I felt quite peckish watching the cook up.
19:45 as a wise man once said, ''there is always room for an extra pair of socks''. i always do that and not once have i regretted it lol. great vid and absolutely gem of a spot!
Liked this one mate, similar to my recent camp.. theres a lot to be said for camping in a hedge in the rain 👏😎
Another great stealthy campy out love it billy keep it rolling on 👏
Great vid, love the hedge/forest stealth camps. Would you maybe do a 2/3 night stealth one day? That would be amazing

Hi Billy enjoying ur videos. The straps on the middle of your tarp are so it ca be doubled over and used as a stretcher in the field for a wounded soldier
I’ve a Dutch army bivi- love it! Get a good night sleep in there.
Well done I like watching the stealth camping my backs knackered from work so carnt camp out no more so I get my fix here
Look at you! Adding the pasta to the sauce like a "proper" Italian. Love the videos mate. Genuine, unassuming and honest. Without that nervy paranoia (not to mention inflated narative) that a certain gentleman from Canada likes to employ.

Hi billy that was a good spot we have one similar people walk past but never spot us ,missed camping at the weekend cos it was meant to thunder but it didn't 😕deffo going this weekend 😊🍀💕
Hell yeah bro sweet ass spot! Beautiful grennery too. We were wondering where you've been.
Smart move to get a decent pair of boots ... Very surprised that you've left it this long. A comfortable pair of waterproof, but breathable, boots will look after your feet (and ankles) ... and make life much more pleasant (even for general wear in winter) ... They don't have to be massively expensive for your needs, but don't cheapskate either, as they can last a long time so you get good value. Good luck with finding the right ones for you (and do some research !) ...
Fantastic episode bud, I use a tarp and hammock or bivvy. I'm thinking of buying some bungee cords to use rather than para cord. Probably be better to assemble and disassemble. I used to use bungees in the army.
I love rain,im not a people person,so rain plus covid,i loved going out with just me and nature.loved your videos as always . stay safe debs..

@@johnqueen9508 At what point in my comment do I refer to risk of being shot at? That is right, I didn’t. Only an ass would make such an assumption. The point I was making, is that you are more likely to be caught on managed land as the keeper/s will be out after dark looking for Charlie.
