In her project, artist and graphic designer Iryna Kostyshyna is recording the experiences of people who have stayed in Kyiv throughout the Russian invasion. She then turns those records into scenarios she uses for her comics. Iryna is also writing essays on Russian imperialistic discourse in culture.
In this short video, Iryna Kostyshyna writes about how the war affects time management and physical resources, the psychological pressure of talking about the experiences of the invasion, and conducting interviews with current military members.
