Do you two have jobs? Yes! We both have full time careers. Brian is a Software Engineer and Kerry is a Graphic Designer.
Is this vlog a paid promotion with the cruise line? No, we have never worked with a cruise line before (I doubt they even know who we are 😂). If that ever changes, we will be sure to let you know in the video.
What are those black pouches around your neck? We use the lanyards to carry some camera equipment, but many cruisers like to wear lanyards to hold their room key card.
What camera do you use? We typically use the DJI Pocket II, however, when we are in the water we use the Go Pro Hero 9, and in Alaska we occasionally used the Nikon P1000 for wildlife shots. What is a GUSS? GUSS is our name for a Towel Animal! It is a childhood memory for Brian that has lived on for years. You can see the home video moment where GUSS was born in Adventure of the Seas Day 6 (We Made the News) and Allure of the Seas Day 3 (Sea Day).
Is that one thing you said serious? Almost certainly not. If you’re new to the channel, we have really dry, sarcastic senses of humor. So if you’re questioning if it’s sarcasm - it probably is.
How do I ask a dinner time question? Leave a comment on any video and let us know it’s supposed to be answered at dinner time. We’re always looking for new questions (even if the next cruise we can answer it on is a long long way out).
Is it really pronounced CoCo “Key”? Royal Caribbean has said itself that it is pronounced “Key” in a FAQ of their own here: creative.rccl.com/Sales/Royal.... To each their own on this pronunciation!
When and how did you meet? We met in February of 2020 via a dating app. We answer this question in more detail in our Independence of the Seas Day 2 (Swimming with Pigs) video.

We just got back from our first ever cruise yesterday on Independence and your content was so helpful!! I binged all of it before we left and we booked an Alaskan cruise on board for next year on Quantum almost wholly thanks to your experience and tips. It is also REALLY nice to see the alcohol-free experience because so many people seem to focus on binge drinking while cruising and, while we do drink a little, that’s not what we want to be doing on a cruise. Thank you for posting!! I will say, we did the beach club on CocoCay due to a mix up with our beach bed reservation, and I will never go back without it because it was so good so I am excited to see y’all try it!

Question! I was looking at all the Curacao excursions and they have weight limits. Have anyone ever seen them weigh anyone or do you think they would break out a scale to do any?

Disney is our favourite cruise line, but living in Canada the exchange rate is very high, making Disney very very expensive. Looking at trying our first Royal Caribbean Ship next year. Another great video. Yeah Nassau been there too many time we stay on the ship. Now we say Nassau great relax day. Interesting thing about internet speed. At home we have fiber optic our speeds are really fast. 900mbps. So we usally say we are on vacation and dont need internet for a week or so. I'm on android and I find if you go to airplane mode then reconnect the speed seem to get a boost. Not sure if this happens on OAS. Once again love your videos.

Great channel . FYI Jim Vanfleet was a meteorologist on channel 35 Orlando for many years. Also, google Jim Van Fleet and the Reign he had a country band also. Another little nugget of information he’s from Oklahoma.

Australian Gold makes a tinted mineral face sunscreen with SPF 50. It doesn't look like make-up; it just prevents the white caste. La Roche-Posay makes one too, but it's twice as expensive.

On Norwegian if you don’t get the premium wifi it isn’t just slower, it actually blocks anything it considers a streaming site. It is one of my few complains about the experience on Norwegian - I fell behind on my podcasts!

Greetings from Anthem of the Seas. Day 11 of a 14 day Mediterranian cruise. Hang on....wasn't there a sofa in the cabin when you got in? What? Ooooh.....below the pile. Got it! ;) Totaly agree about Solarium. But isn't it strange that the pools a better/larger on the Quantum-class ships than on the much larger Oasis-class ship? One of my few gripes about the Oasis-class. Happy 4th to you both! Looking forward to see what you think of your Disney experience. May the force be with you my young padawans!

you need to put out a scratch off for Celebrity
Atlantis is $250 per ticket ($500). I saw a hack by cruise vloggers where they booked the paradise hotel for $350 for the day and got 2 tickets to Atlantis included in their booking. You may want to try that. And I like it when you drop knowledge. It’s fascinating. ~Inge 😺

Glad you found us, thanks for watching! The neighborhood we live in Orlando made it out pretty lucky, no damage or power loss. Other places nearby had lots of flooding, but luckily we didn’t get any of that.

Good question! Normally we don’t do either. When we do the math on the refundable deposit, the risk/reward doesn’t seem worth it most of the time. But we did actually just purchase annual travel insurance with Allianz instead of buying it per trip through Royal.
