We started dating in high school and look at us now 40 years later. It was a last-minute decision to commemorate this anniversary by staying in a nice hotel somewhere. Herman MO is about 30ish minutes from our home and although we've been many times, we have never stayed overnight in the town.
I highly recommend Herman Hill Hotel if you want relaxation, wonderful food, and spectacular views.
We dined at Stonehill Winery restaurant the only evening we had and it was wonderful... Another highly recommend.
