Staying Close to God as a Busy Mom (Part 1) - Courtney Ellis
As a mom with three kids, Courtney Ellis knows the struggle of finding time to connect with God in the midst of motherhood duties like diapers, dishes, laundry and countless to-do lists. Feeling like the Church’s well-meaning message of “try harder” wasn’t helping her handle her spiritual guilt and shame, she embarked upon a year-long experiment of incorporating ancient spiritual disciplines into daily family life. She learned to seek God intentionally through such disciplines as self-examination, listening prayer, gratitude, and reading Gods’ Word. In this interview, Courtney will encourage moms in their faith journey by sharing her tips for creating spiritual growth, intimacy and renewal.

Wow 😮 wow I needed to hear this so badly today 😢 thank you ❤️
Men, in general, have a " huge" extra dose of ego! I'm recovering from overwork n under-- understood n singing in prise n worship, aloud n s'times inwardly, keeps me afloat, like a flying eagle just rise n soar in the high winds of soul- saving praise n worship
Oh lol we went to that church’s Sunday dinner a few years ago 🥹🥳
You have to get a new toilet lid....seriously!😂
Just only two generations ago when the mothers had to raise more than two kids and take care of the family and house, they did so without questioning. That is the way it is. As the society gets more affluent and people spoiling themselves without discipline, we need programs like this one and are made to believe the teaching is truthful. Ridiculous.
Yeah talk about no life at all. Real caring moms are busy and don't feel the need to ask for praises on social media exposing their loved ones to strangers. Bunch of moms this generation are idiots
