Staying at one of Japan's hidden hot springs near Tokyo🇯🇵 | Japan Travel Vlog

Today, I stayed alone at "UN KAI KAKU (Nasu Yumoto Onsen Town)," a hot spring highly recommended by hot spring enthusiasts. Crumbling walls, mysterious passages, long staircases... This is the best hot spring inn where you can deeply experience wabi-sabi (the Japanese spirit) along with the hot spring. Enjoy :)

Memo
Actually, I soaked in the hot spring a total of six times outside of the video. The owner's husband was really kind to me. And I was honored to meet the two photographers I met at the hot spring and take a bath with them. A once-in-a-lifetime encounter. See you again somewhere.
Thank you for watching.

Thank you so much for your video and nice pics. I guess I wanna go the Inn in which you showed us and take a hot spa. The facilities and atmosphere of the inside room and breathtaking view of the tunnel running for the hot spa. Exactly the Inn what you showed us is not five star hotel, howevever she has nice and faschinating character,I guess so strongly. And I feel that shou-ji torn off is pretty stunning and situation. That's my 2cents. Anyway, thank you so much for your nice stunning video.😊

We define “beautiful” for better or worse. Of course a five-star hotel is lovely. But an inn that has made many people happy, even if it is in shambles, is also beautiful. I am glad you got the message. Thank you!

Thank you for your comment♨️ It was a little scary, but the reason it was so worn out is because it provided value to so many people. It was beautiful, just like an old human🌸 It was a great experience in my life.

The spring is nice but walking to it is a little too much. Maybe the owner can make a entryway (door) from outside the onsen room, i think that would be awesome. By the way, what was the cost of the room? Do they accept day trip as well?

Thanks for your comments on this video as well🐕 It was definitely a lot of work😅 but it's also true that there's a lot of history on the road to get there, which is awesome and exciting! Renovation work is important... but it would be sad to see the spirit and history of Japanese culture disappear because of it. It is a difficult issue😓 As for the cost, it was ¥5,000 per night and ¥500 for a day trip! I don't know what currency you are using, but check the summary section for the amounts in several different currencies😊.
