This is a pretty solid mashup, one of the best I've heard that isn't McClintock. If you get a chance, search "ratt and Marvin gaye" it's called round the grapevine or something but I promise it will change your life.

As someone born in '82, during the whole disco backlash when you were supposed to hate disco because it wasn't guitar driven rock, I still enjoyed the Bee Gees. I'm glad lots of people now can appreciate both disco and rock. I've always thought I was rare in that I've had very eclectic tastes in music. I'm glad to see that more people feel the same way!

Born '64...in '82 was in high school and learning to play guitar. (Back in Black remains a lifetime/alltime favorite...got to where I could play all 10 songs in sequence-rhythms only of course! Not a *chance* I could play those solos!) But any time I played in front of friends, THIS WAS THE GOAL: get the rockers dancing & get the dancers head-banging! Around 1990 or so I put some crunchy Malcolm Young-esque rhythm guitar over top EU's "Da Butt" and-next to my quarter century teaching career-I count that as my life's greatest achievement! LOL! ;-)

This contrast never existed for me, born in '62 and fully immersed in the disco era, I also listened to rock. And that's how most of my friends and clique felt during that time and until today. Depending on your mood. There was never any hostility because of it. That's how it should be.🤘💓🕺 This Mashup sounds great!

Best moment for me was I was running sound for the Rowen County Fair in Kentucky and I put this on my playlist to play in between bands. At the beginning of the song, one part of the crowd was loving The Bee Gees and when the music hit, the hard rock fans were laughing at the Bee Gee fans and when the Bee Gees sang to music, everyone had a look of confusion, turned and looked at me. I never laughed so hard before.

I cant believe I just discovered this masterpiece today 🤯

Bee Gees were a traditional Pop-rock band prior to 1975, yet they got all the Disco-backlash. Sad, because they themselves changed with the times, abandoning the Disco after it ran it's course, yet they still were blacklisted for years.

@@marcindih4570 Well it was a HUGE hit for the Studio54 crowd. Still, even if it wasn't 100% disco, the Stones had a couple other songs from that era that DO fit the criteria.

Still think this is one of the best mashup songs I've heard, I come back to it every once in awhile.

I absolutely loved this. Years ago I was driving and I heard AC/DC's Let's Get It Up on the radio and one of my kids was playing Human League's Don't You Want Me on one of their devices at the same time. It may sound like an odd mix but it sounded perfect.

I'm a fan of AC/DC and have to admit this definitely JIVES !!
