i had a dream where i was watching a movie, which was basically a mix of stay out of the house and re7. the ending showed the main character failing and getting beat up by the big bad guy, and then it cut to a rick and morty scene.

This is the sort of game that after s few seconds of video i really want to play, but i also don't want spoiled in any way so i end up watching the video months or years later when I finally get to playing it

Spoiler warning!! Tbh, I think the bunker twist is pretty bad. Not terrible, but it feels sooooo out of place and boring. We didn't need a sci-fi twist with demons and lab experiments, just a weird guy with a hammer and a chainsaw was already insane enough and really really good! It was open enough to generate theories, but simple enough to explore and think about. We didn't need the bunker :/

I love scifi and demons, but it would be nice for not every horror to have some elaborate plot found through puzzles inside and out of game and secret files in the code. I miss theories spawned from a few clues, sparce enough that it leaves room for different theories, and some that you can form on your own as a casual player.

@@loeandbehold4808 EXACTLY! As someone who only feels fear when consuming really specific forms of horror, that totally derailed the fear I had for the game. Cults of weird ass people ARE real, are weird and unknown, that's what gave me fear. Anytime, anywhere someone could try and kidnap me just to do the same thing as the game, but now there's all this bla bla bla about labs, radiation, demons, experiments. God, can't we just make leather-face with gas leaks?

I feel like adding *just* the bunker element could work if done well (it'd be hard to get right, though), but adding the lab *and* there's a weird entity in the lowest levels is just a step too far.

Dude that shift is the WORST. Late enough to have to deal with all the freaky stuff but early enough that you have to deal with the morning crew at the end.

I was falling asleep just before the sponsor, but Charlatan screaming into his microphone and peaking it woke me RIGHT up. Edit: 9:16 yeah, that woke me up. lolllll It is too bad you don't know my wife, she is from Honduras and makes all the things you did in the cooking segment but very very good. Even her white rice is amazing, I can't make it anymore it always turns out bleh in comparison. If you can you want to get El Milagro brand corn or flour tortillas, those are the best. Their chips are very good too, though maybe it is a Midwest Wisconsin/Illinois thing only. Wife says the El Milagro tortillas remind her of the home made ones from Honduras very well. My wife made Honduran Tacos the other day and it is delicious, chicken breast shredded, folded into el milagro corn tortillas, then you deep fry them with a tooth pick (gotta microwave each tortilla for 10 seconds or they fall apart), then cabbage cut up with the Fresco cheese, get some of that pink sauce with siraca and the red tomato sauce with onions she cooks, delicious. Double Edit: Makes me sad we can't even show cartoon violence now from a pixelated polygon filled game on KZread Kids 2023 Premium $14 CEO of Hell.

@@percher4824 Regardless of volume it is the contrast that is the problem. He goes from soft spoken to uncomfortably loud. My'n volume is set to 4/100 any lower and I'm close to muting it.

Yeah I would NOT recommend getting that pre-packaged beef for Carne Asada. Just grab some flank steak and you'll have a much better time.

Ok, Now get this. California burritos are good but replace the fries with Texas Toothpicks. You can thank me later. A local restaurant had their spin on it and those texas toothpicks were just so much better than fries. Also I can never get crinkly fries to crisp up in the oven, I would definitely be frying them for max crispiness. So if I'm doing fries in the oven I usually buy the Ore-Ida brand that says extra crispy (or something similar).

Nah, part of the reason why I did this was because years back Binging With Babish tried to do a Cali Burrito and on top of trying to use steak fries he told people to go ask restaurants for their big tortillas. This is a no-no and it must be corrected.

@@CharlatanWonder Hahahaha, I totally would have done that too; My grand dad would buy pizza dough from the shop near our house and make homemade stuff all the time: I'd assume the same process of tortilla buying. What would you suggest to someone if they didn't like guac or any of that cream stuff for the Cali burrito? I'm a weirdo who doesn't really like that stuff...and I kinda wanna use waffle fries for this too.

The tambour is completely out, just flip up the gun and all the shells will just fall off. It would be a problem if you didn't fire all the bullets and don't want to drop a bullet, but from what I see, usually when you load it is because you have no more bullets. I guess they made this mechanic just to further increase anxiety and risk of f*cking up.
