What macros would be an advantage on xdefiant over controller? That part is confusing me

I mean I could go on and on about recoil control, abusing the aim assist so it's basically locking on people, so much more. But the main concern I was talking about here is using Mouse and Keyboard on Console being put in controller lobbies because it thinks your on controller too

Yeah, I agree that Ranked should have been done by input instead of a free-for-all of movement. If they keep the free-for-all, they need to get a lot better at detecting KBM macros and other software assisted play.

I'm really not sure why it's so difficult to detect that something like a xim or zen is plugged into a console or if someone on PC is using other software. Then again I'm not a developer so I have no idea

​@@NyteFalll I am a software developer (not in gaming) and I'd wager that those apps are either working at the hardware level (written in a very low level language which would be difficult for higher level programming languages to detect what they are doing) or they are masking themselves to look like other applications (so maybe the software on PC to macro looks like a word processing program in it's indicators/naming schemes). For a low level language, they could have it acting like a different app but then having their code overload the buffer in a way that would cause it to create the desired effects but the buffer overload wouldn't be detectable by the higher language running the game/anti-cheat. So it would look like business as usual while the cheat/macro app is looking at the cheating app like a regular non-related app. For console though, the only reason it's probably difficult is because the consoles allow third party controllers/hardware and it's probably masking it's identity there as well.

Join ranked game. I'm alone against four opponents. Immediately leave because there is no penalty for doing so. They really screwed ranked up.

There may not have been a penalty because you were alone. But I did find out earlier if you leave it does count as a loss and you do lose RP.

I disagree with you a bit on this. 😂 i think ranked is meant to be sweaty and all and should have both kbm and controller play against one another. Those who complain can stay in casual games... simple. Or those not wanting to play against a certain type can disable it and again play the casual games...Not everyone is scared of PC KBM players and their movement... it isnt any different than a goated controller players movement other than better raw aim which can be countered with aim assist and much more tools.... the macros can also be done on controller as well. Maybe not on console as i play PC with a controller. And i want to play with my PC kbm friends in ranked. I think this might be slightly a skill issue homie. Im not trying to be rude but it sounds like that

I get where your coming from but we should have that option. Currently consoles don't have native kbm support for the game which means if your playing someone on kbm they are either using a xim or something along those lines or on PC. My issue here is the availability of cheats to those types of players. If I someone doesn't want to play ranked against kbm players they should have that choice just like you should be able to choose to play with your friends on kbm and stuff. That's why I said crossplay should he adjusted to only cross console play. There's a reason other games separate the 2. I personally don't care if I play against kbm players because in other games I play against them, specifically on siege where half the players in my rank use a xim. I was just trying to say it's stupid to have it and use that as a "selling" point to come play this game then exclude that from ranked
