For some reason, everyone and their dog suddenly wants to read scary stories on KZread. It seems like every day there’s a new little channel on my feed. Honestly I’m happy to find new quality channels, and I always check them out. For almost all of them, the quality of reading ability has been shockingly low. Narration is not just speaking out of your mouth what you read on the paper. I sound like a snob, but I’m picky about the voice of someone reading to me. I can’t listen if it’s unappealing to me, or if every sentence is said in the same way, monotonously. To the point, you have no idea how happy I am when I see there’s a new Being Scared video, because I know for a fact I’m going to love it. Thank you for having so much talent and for being one of the OG scary story channels on KZread. These new kids on the block do not measure up to you, Sir!

It is 2:01 AM in North Wales, UK, I've been waiting for the new one to drop, sooooo...YAY, finally off to bed!! My hubby frequently asks "Do all [Americans] go to sleep listening to horror, murder and crime?" He's just happy I've finally stopped going to sleep WATCHING Deadly Women & Snapped! Most Brits do not have telly in the bedroom. Terrible habits I picked up living in the US for 30 years. So glad Being Scared was recommended, it all started with Raven Reads which lead me to Mr. Revenant who lead me to Being Scared who lead me to Mortis Media...All of you are great but Being Scared is my RUSH TO LISTEN when new ones drop. Just wish they dropped a little earlier in the night 😅...I do realize We are 5 hours ahead of US East Coast time but still....lol

Being Scared was my fitst.... Lol try Mr. Chilling/Bedtime Chills. He's fairly new but his narration is like a whispered type which is neat. And Papa Scare is awesome too. But BS will always have my heart!

Being Scared, Mr.CreepyPasta, and Mr.Nightmare are the only storytellers for me. Being Scared, you're my favorite storyteller to go to sleep to, as I love you do your narration with rain, and don't get too overtly enthusiastic in stories you tell. Your soft cadence is my favorite when I'm experiencing anxiety. (I listen to MCP and MN when I'm feeling more positive, awake, or spooky). You're so comforting to me when I'm not feeling well.
