Stavanger is full of history. Being one of the oldest cities in Norway, Stavanger was the center of power during the Viking Age and an important harbor throughout the last centuries. Many Norway visitors use Stavanger as the base to explore the many stunning fjords, jaw-dropping landscapes, world-famous hiking trails, and white sandy beaches in this part of the country. Thank you! Yes, two nights are enough for the city and maybe one excursion, but it depends what you want to do in the surroundings. For example, if you also want to include a hike to Preikestolen, you might been three nights.
