A return of yet another one of my stealth builds, The Plague Doctor. There are of course some minor changes, as a straight sword enjoyer 1.10 has given me a reason to add it to almost all of my builds. And it fits nicely onto this one. Unlike my previous stealth build, this one doesn’t focus on crit damage (although it can). Rather it aims to apply statuses from afar and then come in for the kill. Everything about it fits a theme right down to the spells. She fits the trope of the Mad Doctor, meaning she “cures” people but in her own messed up sort of way. I’m honestly very proud of this build. It’s imo my most unique one, it isn’t like any other bleed build to say the least. Enjoy!

The misericorde is thematically perfect here, this dagger comes from ancient France and was used to give the "gift of rest". The affected person, who was usually suffering from an epidemic or other ailment, was thus freed from suffering. The blade is long and thin for a reason.

Yeah I guess the Iframes from falling helped them there. But they were for sure not getting up that ladder!

I swear these stealth invasions are inspiring but the bgm really makes it seem like an entirely different game too.

I love this build, ive been making my own perfumer/alchemist builds too! This gave me some inspiration for higher level versions of my builds. Also i appreciate how you stay in character even if it means losing. Very good!

Just the amount of pressure they add alone now is pretty crazy I got to admit. Like in ds3 you could honestly ignore it at least I did lol. But here, I never really felt like I was falling behind in fights. Not to mention bleed is just crazy in this game and I didn’t even use an innate bleed weapon.

it was op in ds3 as well. the curved ghru sword is one of the fastest and most relentless stunlock weapons in the game, and combined with its inherent poison build up it was extremely annoying. in fact, it was probably the strongest 1v1 weapon in the entire game. and in this game, poison and rot pale in comparison to a pulley crossbow with sleep bolts + vykes war spear. The only difference is you don't really need to be good at the game to make statuses work, especially since 70% of them stun you even if you dodge their damage, and both madness and sleep also drain your fp. A whole lot of mechanics in elden ring are only fun to play with if you hold yourself back from truly abusing how broken the game is (like how the guy in this video held himself back), and said abuse isn't even particularly difficult to learn anymore.

Volcano pots will guarantee knock people off ladders. If youre at the top you win. Especially here, throw a volcano pot at the top of the ladder and watch fatty fall to their deaths ;)

FINALLY I find a video of someone using poison moth flight! Sure it’s not the best AOW but damnit is it satisfying when it hits!

I've tried hours of pvp recently and have a respect for your patience making these haha. I've kinda given up on the pvp because it's hard for me to find enjoyable matchups, but I really enjoy these videos! Especially your sneaky boy ones haha

I love poison moth flight, even if I rarely get it off. It has a cool factor imo and can make being poisoned a little scarier. Thanks! On the bright side these kind of builds will kinda force you to be patient, too squishy to run face first into a fight… even though I can get a little antsy sometimes lol. Yeah I think I can understand that, I don’t show every matchup I get and there are definitely some I enjoy more than others. But hey if you ever feel that PvP itch my videos are always here! 😁

Some people question the utility of poison, especially in pve. I find poison is a nice thing to have proc, but knowing they see the buildup is better. Especially if it comes in tandem with rot and/or bleed. Because fear is the greatest status of them all.

Lol visiting hours are 24/7, but I usually make house calls. The thrusting sword is just the classic rapier, I like it because it has the highest crit multiplier and it’s fashionable. I had the misericorde on occult incase I wanted to do decent damage with backstabs and I put bloody slash on in as a backup (it does a surprisingly good amount of damage) I swapped around the AoW on the SS and Rapier depending on which one I wanted to use in the main hand but it was Poison Moth Flight, if they’re poisoned and it hits it will do a lot of damage but it can also apply poison And the arrows are Serpent Arrows, with the serpent bow they can poison incredibly fast

⁠​⁠@@Blutgolem my bad, the arrows are the Serpent Arrows, they can poison really fast when paired with the serpent bow. I have Rot arrows but it takes a lot longer for it to go off. As for pots, I just don’t use them. I couldn’t explain why since there really wouldn’t be a reason to not use them. This build already has a lot to micromanage and I’m fine with one less thing to manage lol

I know it’s been a few months if you’re still taking suggestions. I’d like to see how you’d perhaps do as a Fire Prelate either with the hammer, the headstand weapon thing, or even the thorn whip. Other simple idea is just doing some frozen lightning invasions but there’s only the katana, halberd, and incantation. My favorite kind of unique status really and I normally wore it with Banished Knight stuff since it looks like matching materials between the armor and weapons alone.

I have made a video using the fire prelate hammer and thorn whip but he wasn’t very fire prelatey. I’ve recently got back to doing invasions but I’m not certain when I will do another video. And I like that idea with the banished knight with the ice lightning

Why do you have an occult misericorde. An occult wakizashi would do more damage and also have very high blood loss buildup

In case of ripostes and backstabs. The high crit multiplier means it outperforms in that situation.That and I like the R2s
