7️⃣ 7 Years of the current Quo 🎉
On 20th June 2016, Richie Malone played his first gig with Status Quo 🎸
Massive kudos to Richie for dedicating the last 7 years of his life to Quo. At the time no-one knew exactly what the future would hold for the band. Think it’s fair to say they’ve done alright! 💪🏻
🎥 Hopefully this video captures Status Quo’s highlights; 2016-present. Remaining a hugely successful touring act, releasing a new studio album and countless TV appearances & interviews along the way. Plus Australian supermarket adverts and most recently Greggs 😅
Here’s to 7 years of the band who have at the centre of so many great memories I’ve had over the last 7 years. The band who without I certainly wouldn’t have half the friends I do now! 😊

Love the FF line-up of Quo. However, I also like the 2019 album 'Backbone' a lot and I sincerely hope that this line-up records & releases a follow-up studio album.
Rick was a student of my dad's when he was younger. My dad was a flying instructor at a small airport in Surrey. The day I was born Rick & Francis turned up at the house with champagne whilst mum was in hospital having me. I was given a white rabbit soft toy by Rick & his first wife Marie.
Brilliant. Richie and Leon have been a revelation …….long live Quo
These guys have been having fun and laughing the whole time! Excellent

Y’know I love the current line-up so much! Regardless of what some people stuck in 1973 think they’re still a solid unit, and personally I for one genuinely love hearing Rhino doing lead vocals. I’d love to know where the clip from 1:10 is from btw, I’m assuming another, more ‘recent’ Coles ad?

Big fan since 1977, i saw them twice live, i can't listen to them nowadays since Rick and Alan passed away ... Sorry, I tried but seeing Francis last member playing without his bandmates is too hard for me 😭

Sad to say I agree. For me Status Quo was Rick Parfitt.
Tracks seem to be double speed, sounds daft..
The problem with Quo is that post-Rick, they've let Rhino sing.

It hasn't been Status Quo since the mid 1980s. After John and Alan left the Status left the Quo. You can't have an existing state of affairs when it is no longer true.
Sounds more chas and dave than quo.

Oh dear, that is not status quo, that's Francis Rossi tribute band, not a good one at that.
