Ours don't even give any explanation, they tell you "here's the formula" and don't ask why, then you end up memorizing it without actually comprehending it, similar to learning a subject which requires nothing but memorizing, which is blasphemous to maths.

my professor didnt even show me the formula. he explain complement is a number that is not in the set of number than proceed to give the set 1 single number in the HW. jack ass
