My understanding of “institutionalised racism” is when the state institutions function based on laws promoting apartheid, segregation and discrimination written concisely and clearly on the operating blueprint/status of that state institution! To say that racism is institutional or institutionalised without an operating status of a state institution referring to that , is absurd in my view and devious to say the least . If some attitudes of staffers here or there occasionally give the impression that one or another has racist feelings, that doesn’t make racism institutionalised because staffers are private persons hired to do a job based on correct laws, rules and contracts and if they don’t respect those they can be fired.

EXACTLY!! If there was institutional racism there wouldn't be blacks excelling in any field except those run by blacks themselves. A "black" president put the lie to the claim of institutional racism. I can agree that there are some stubborn hearts out there who are racist, but not any "institution".

@@C-Farsene_5 I’m not saying he is right wing. I’m just saying that in todays America, anyone who isn’t completely bowing down the Agenda is labeled “Far Right.” Todays right of center conservatives are the only ones really coming up with common sense solutions to anything anyhow. IMO. But the media labels any critics of the agenda as “racist, far right, etc.”. Which is a complete communist tactic. I don’t want to start a left or right debate. Both sides of center just view the solutions differently. The real issue there is …. Most people to the left seem to have a very perverted version of what it means to be a Republican. Based on narratives pushed by main stream media. Where as most people to the right of center view the entire left side as being in support of the current agendas being pushed. For example : if you feel that “ Lia Thomas” should have been able to compete against women and steal their gold medal….. you really have no place in an adult discussion. Point blank period. I’m very libertarian when it comes to people doing what they want, but that doesn’t come at the sacrifice of others. I’m ranting…… You get the point.

I think your message is important. So much of the pushback against "systemic racism" seems to deny that racism exists. It definitely does, but it is not a significant factor in the outfomes ror almost all people. I recently went through DEI training, and althought equity was defined in the beginning as "everyone being supported to achieve to their maximum ability," the next step was to measure equity by equality of statistical outcomes. One is not a good proxy for the other.

I'm not sure i'd agree that institutional racism still exist but rather than remnants and effects of historical racism. Most of the available statistics point to a failure of cultural acclamation as the driving force of racial inequalities. This circles back to those historical effects including some as recent as the split in philosophies among the black community during the civil rights movement.

Look whether something exists or not… is not up for debate. It either does or doesn’t, in each persons individual personal reality. There isn’t any evidence of racism at all in my reality. Because I don’t ever think about it. I believe it’s doesn’t exist, so LOA constantly shows me evidence that I’m right + shows me people interacting completely free of racism, I don’t see news talking about it, or any stories or anything because my beliefs don’t support that. Someone who has a stronger belief that it does exist because they have seen it. Subconsciously looks for it. Is shown evidence they are correct + it’s all over the place, they will see more news about it, videos like this. That support and give more evidence of there beliefs, + that they are right. Someone who’s parents had powerful negative experiences with racism decades ago, obviously is gonna effect their children growing up around them, Dad may say “see what happened and show the child examples of “racism” so the child is gonna be influenced heavily in what they believe. Which will create there reality, and if they believe the same things they will be shown evidence they are correct. That it’s everywhere. It’s our own choice believe it or not. So is there racism? Yes and No. in some peoples reality, and Non-Existent in other peoples reality. And that is the absolute Truth. Like it or not. People think they believe things because they see them… Not True People are Shown Evidence(interactions, situations, information, anything that supports what they currently “KNOW” + “BELIEVE” )….. BECAUSE THEY ALREADY BELIEVE THESE THINGS. You create they world around you based on what you expect and know and believe. Period. That’s exactly why TV and media and NEWS! Especially exists… they are subtly influencing you + leading you with “Expert” information and “authority “ because they have “reputation” so u “trust” them. And jus talking about a subject you know nothing about in a “matter of fact way”…. Influences you to believe that even though it’s based on absolutely nothing but a “source”. Who has letters in front of his name. So it must be true. And it was on news so I can safely store that as truth about that subject. Simple as that. Ur not a scientist ur not a physicist so ur not gonna go make sure that’s true yourself. No most people blindly believe what they are Told. And they know that. We believe and accept the world that is presented to us. Period. Because “everyone” else believes it. Think for yourself create the reality you want to live in, and do yourself a favor don’t watch the news. Being a brainwashed sheep is not a good look. Anyway take care

So … a world without racism is impossible because people are different and have different incomes, educations etc.? Did you not understand what systemic racism means? When groups of a certain race have a comparatively (to other race groups) level of income and education, THAT is a very clear sign of systemic racism. 😒
