I know there are a lot of people who have a deep love of pens (and journals), but I never thought I would actually see someone who acts JUST LIKE ME over them! I am 56 years old and I have had this obsession with pens, markers, pencils, and all things stationary since I was a little girl. People just always gave me them for gifts and I loved it! I can’t wait to show this video to my 21 year old twins tomorrow. Maybe they will stop making fun of me for getting so excited over my pens. They each buy me a new set every Mother’s Day knowing how I am going to react! 🤗🤗🤗

Hey Carrie, Here’s a tip for you that’ll make you fall in Love with the Pilot G2 Pens!😃 You can take the refills out of the Pentel Energel pens and Insert them into the Pilot G2 pens, then you’ll have Pilot G2 pens that have Pentel Energel ink in them!😊

being someone that loves to journal and use all kinds of different things in my journal i love looking at pens and getting different pens to use in my journal and get excited looking at pens and journals i can spend time looking at them like at walmart and target, just always makes me so happy

I am so soo happy to see this new video. I have recently been dealing with a lot of medical and other high stress things, and consequently have been feeling under the weather and worried about the toll it's all taking on my body. So I thought that starting to journal may help me to work through the stress and hopefully help improve my health, and your videos are always such a lovely space of joy and creativity. Pentel EnerGel Needle Tip 0.5 is my favourite pen. I have a conical tip in 0.7 too. I didn't even know you get the needle tip in 0.7. Thanks for a great video.

Okay u brands speckle sunset 0.7 pens are 11/10 for me. I'm left handed and tend to write with my pens completely upright so it's hard for me to find pens that don't skip when I'm writing. They're at Walmart for like $5 and I'm pretty sure it's recycled plastic. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone. Unfortunately I think they only have black ink but that's usually what I write in anyway. They're so smooth and amazing I've never found such a perfect pen! I also have the pastel speckle ones my husband surprised me with (actually the first set I got), I like them as well but they don't write as smoothly which is weird as it's the same brand, HOWEVER I do prefer how dark the ink is on those ones compared to the first ones I mentioned. They are completely worth trying out if you ever decide to 🖤

Hey carrie, I noticed that for your recent entries you were using different highlighters than mildliners, how do they compare?

im totally with you on the G2 pens...they're fine, but i was almost disappointed when i tried them because i didn't think they were nearly as great as most people make them out to be. but also still bought the big pack with all the colors just to be sure. 😁

I've been watching for a few years, and so I'm sorry if you have already discussed this, but recently I've been using the Pilot G2 in my journals because I like how smooth it writes without much pressure, since I have been trying to improve how heavy I am on my pens so my hand won't cramp so much. Do you have any suggestions for a pen that also writes super smooth? Love your videos! I'm currently on journal #12 and your videos inspire me so much. This is my first journal starting to use color.

Idk if maybe u don’t have them in your country, but they actually came out with 10 new colours. There’s the neutral and pastel pack. I got them both as a gift from my Aunt in England since they aren’t sold in my country.

Do you know any cheap pens that are good? Because pentel energel are SUPER expensive. They’re like $18 for two pens! Please reply.❤

My favorite pen i love using in both my notebook and journal and planner are FRIXION erasable pen if i make a mistake i can erase it 📓🖋✔️

My most unpopular opinion is probably that I don’t like zebra mildliners. I really wanted to love them because they come in so many fun colors but they tend to bleed through the pages whereas the old school sharpie and bic highlighters don’t. I used up the pack that I purchased but I LOVE my classic highlighters so I didn’t repurchase the mildliners.

Los lápices pilot g2 pastel son mejores para hojas negras

This is amazing and my first video of yours, but while I LOVE the pilot pens. You being left handed and not liking them as much would make sense because they don't dry super fast, and if your hand is going over them, than you'll have some issues. That may not be the main reason for you, but I'm sure its a factor for you. (Just saying its an understandable thing to not love, and if you write small you'll need the smaller tips and the 07 are the most common)

Make your journal pretty. Do it a few days ahead so you aren’t left rushing. You can find Washi tape, stickers, and all sorts of fancy embellishments. Make it themes you like, so you look forward to using it.
